Here's another interview with Zueva... I'm a little confused in how the programs were picked as as she said earlier IIRC that she picked the SP and Yulia chose the FS and Ex and now she says she gave Yulia some choices and she picked.

This is nitpicking, but I wish yulia would tag in the people she has photos with...
 
I don't think I have ever seen Yulia do a split jump. Maybe they could add one in her programs this season, it would look gorgeous :love:

The girl besides her is maria svatsikaya, figure skater. The irony is that i saw a photo of her with tuktamysheva tomorrow morning , while liza is in SUI. 😂😍

She is the girl that replaced Adelina in Russian GP event, right? She switched to dance this season IIRC. That curly brunet dude is skater from Eteri's group, don't know the other guy though.

The other guy is Vladislav Tarasenko. He's really tall(6 foot-ish)... I think he should put on some muscle and go into pairs with Proklova... or maybe even Yulia after 2018. I actually wish there was a decathlon/triathlon like event for figure skating combining the major disciplines...

As for the other Russian skaters, I wouldn't even consider Yulia Lipnitskaya as a future rival for Tuktamysheva, since we haven't seen her anywhere last season.

There was a funny(to me) interview after Euros IIRC where Yulia was asked if Slutskaya was her idol growing up... and IIRC Yulia said she didn't even know who Slutskaya was growing up. (I find that hard to believe and I think she may have interpreted the question as "did slutskaya's success spurn you to try skating?" or something similar)

I hardly believe anything which comes out of Marina's mouth. :hopelessness::biggrin: So all my faith is on Yulia's good sense and instinct and Scali's assistance.

I don't find that hard to believe and normally Yulia's wouldn't say something which isn't true. In anycase that's very arrogant coming from Irina giving her own story after 2002. Following the same logic she should've been dead then, and yet she came back in 2005 and became WC and was a favourite for an OGM in Torino.

Eh, I don't think there's any need for that.. this is likely a reporter trolling for a story... though it'd be nice if Slutskaya were a little more self aware considering she didn't go to euro's or worlds the year after the 1998 Olympics when she didn't have a 10th of the attention and scrutiny on her as Yulia did this year.
