She is preparing for the Cup of Russia Finals. She is now officially registered to the event. She just started full scale training, because after the holidays she only could skate a couple of days in Yoshkar-Ola, and than she got sick. Now she trains 8 hours a day, but because of the long break, she is basically starting from scratch.

I really hope she does well at the Russian Cup Final. IMO her issues are are 100% confidence related so it's crucial that she continues to show progress.

I do however for the first time in a while have confidence in her that she will be able to start making real progress. I can't explain why but I feel a certain calmness with her now. :zen:

Thank you. I though so but I wasn't sure. Since they competed at such different times internationally I guess you figure that they didn't see each other until that time but skating is a small world.

So this is a bit random, but I was just watching that interview Eteri did regarding the separation from Yulia (thank you to whoever translated it! I really feel like she thoughtful and respectful btw)...and Polina's fall really caught me off guard. I winced! That looked to be really painful, but it was good to see that Eteri immediately rushed off to help her despite being interviewed.
