Удачная тренировка у Юли. Прокат больше обозначила ,но все прыгнула чисто. Отдельно тоже много разминала каскад из тулупов и флип. Реально очень худая ,даже слишком ,фигуры просто не видно.

Zijun, great sp!!!!! she looked so disappointed with her score, and I agree, 29 PCS is way too low for her! Don't loose courage, Zijun! You'r enot alone! The german eurosport commentators would have put you above Yulia and behind Anna in PCS!!! Your hard training and staying in character from start to end were aknowledged! You did great! Just think of today of this way: just like your idol yuna, you were massively underscored in PCS in a competition in russia, because the judges knew you were the most dangerous for the podium!

Anyway, I think this is going to be wonderful for Yulia, very positive. I think they low-balled her a bit but that WD is I think hampering her, as unlike the others, she has no chance for GPF now. Still, enjoyed that so much and well done!

I think we all should sit back and enjoy what she's accomplished today. Her best short program internationally since Worlds 2014, she's in good shape, she was relaxed, or at least it seemed to me, but focused. There's a lot of room to grow in this program. I just want to see her getting better and better. If she nails her jumps, I doubt the Fed is going to drop her, and if she goes slow and steady, we can always hope to see her in the years to come. I'd rather have the chance to see her competing for another two, three years than to see her suffering so much again. Sochi and Urmanov are doing wonders for her.

And I just came back to add that I watched the BESP and TDP broadcasts and the feeling I got was that everyone is just so happy to see her back, just like us. And this is what we should cherish in this moment. It doesn't matter the scores or anything like that, but the look in her eyes at the end of the program, or after she got her score, there was this glint in her eyes, something so uplifting I paused the video in that moment to just look at her. I want her to have another good skate tomorrow, because besides anyone else that loves her, Yulia needs this. She needs something to clean the slate.

She has become more beautiful...It is almost cruel how tough the domestic competition is but I really don't care anymore if Yulia doesn't win...as long as she produces more masterpieces like that.

Fantastic performance, just as I said - she would have medaled at single-skate Worlds with ease.
Correct edge on flip + potential chances for GPF in judges minds + more smile + Worlds inflation = an easy 73-74 and medal.
Let's see what's gonna happen in free, I would take 120 points LP in the dark at this point. Keeping my fingers crossed. :thumbsup:

This was Julia's best and most relaxed SP since long time. She really matured in her expression and artistry. I would like to just change her SP dress colour. The dress is ok, but why they choosed this kind of colour? She would look great in anything else then this chestnut brownish something strange thing.

I'm wondering if the color of the dress affected her complexion because she looked really pale in the SP.
