If Yulia starts doing commentary regularly, I think I might have to start learning Russian again... Although I'm really really bad at it :laugh:

tho her cohost was terrible (as I understood he's a foorball commentator or smth:palmf::palmf:)
 
Does anyone know why Yulia named her instagram ID "sunnylipnitskaya"? Is "sunny" a diminutive form like "Jenny"-"Evgenia"?

Well, I liked her co-commentator. He was nice and funny :biggrin: Not too knowledgeable about figure skating, yes, but seems interested in it. If he's been appointed a regular fs commentator on this channel, I think, he will learn everything in due time.

Guy was sitting next to Yulia Lipnitskaya and was able to speak. Kudos to him. :thumbsup::biggrin:
 
At the end of the gala Yulia said she will be commenting all the GP events. Her co-host then listed all the other events in this season which I get as their future work too.

Elena Ilinykh said in an interview that she liked commenting and wants to repeat it some day, but she'll be focused on preparing for the Russian Nationals in December.
