Did his sp PW change a lot after the first debut 2 years ago? I am curious because I have the feeling his footwork is not yet completed. If it's just half complete then Orser's team will add more details after he comes back to Canada?They weren't filming the first day. They filmed on the 2nd day during the day show I believe. And it's a Yuzuru tradition to fall whenever there's a camera filming him lol
There are still a lot of empty spots in the choreography so its probably only 30-40% complete
Poor kid. He was clearly unhappy with this performance. Why indeed they had to telecast this skate, why not use the better one? (I've got the answer already).
For me it looks as a very draft version, still requires lots of work. He has to keep in mind that for a ballet program like this he has to keep his posture all the time and his arms have to be more expressive. It would be challenging for him to perform it well, the second part is very complicated.

Last night I was watching old videos and came across this short program of Jeff's - at around 2:25 he does the side lunge we know so well from PW! The original.

Is there any chance Yuzuru will perform this SP in the next Fantasy On Ice show? I hope he will. He need to refine it and add more details. I hope he will come back to Canada right after Fantasy on ice. If his SP is just 10% complete as he said, then his Lp might just be 5% completed.Easy, I am sure everything will be ready for first competition . But I like this program already

It's been a long time since my last post here but I read what you wrote almost every day Can't believe this thread it's already 500 + pages...awesome

I don't think so. His 4T is even more stable than Javi and PChan's 4T. It's just they film it on the 2nd day when he was tired I suppose. On the 1st day he was alright with all the jumps and even the combo 3lzt 3T.

this is a program that could make Yuzu grow artistically.
IMO it's very Mao's style, I can easily picture her skating to it in my mind with her white elegant dress... and Yuzu shares with her an amazing lightness and flexibility
it seems to me Aikiko starts talking about the SP at 4:00, and Oda at 1:26. Can anybody translate what she says?

True, I understand how many would find my comment to be harsh but honestly I just want him to succeed. And I wish he had more time to work on this program before showing it to the audience. I can feel how he is telling a different side of the story from Mao's. Yes, it's a different cut of the music. But he is giving a clear male picture to it and it already has a very strong image. I hope he will develop it to the stage that he and Mao could be easily seen skating to this music side by side- same level of artistry and expressiveness. That would be amazing to watch. And no, I don't want him and Mao start to skate as a dance pair. It's just the image from imagination. Maybe someone would make a combo video of their two programs at Youtube in the future.this is a program that could make Yuzu grow artistically.
