Yuzuru Hanyu: 2013-14 Season

^ Uncertainty yes because of so much pressure on Yuzuru from others but above all from himself, his being seven points behind the leader... and now a report on him being injured.

But I am sure of one thing: Yuzuru's fighting spirit. When he shows up to skate, he will strive with all his might and main to skate his very best. Indeed his life as a skater so far has always been marked by a struggle against the odds - asthma, an earthquake that ravaged his hometown, relocation for training to a city where he did not even know the language. This year's Worlds is no different.

Ganbatte Yuzuru!

Ganbatte Yuzuru!

He was injured before SP already, so I think it's accetable form for him to skate :)

Hold on :) Praying for Yuzuru.
I find it amusing how this kid could make us shiver and hold our breaths for him. How many of us are here? I guess it's not only us.
Please be strong, don't stress yourself too much. I want to see your goofy smile, kiddo! You will be fine!:yay:

I hope he isn't as nervous as we are and everything is going to be ok.
I want to see a clean R&J program, even if he doesn't win the gold medal..
Probably too nervous to move away from the tv right now so...see you guys after Javi's FS.

GO YUZU! YOU CAN DO IT!

Thank you for the clarification. I was wondering considering his well known work ethic why Yuzuru was quoted in his interview after the SP that he felt he didn't have enough practice. Now we know the reason was injury. Very Yuzuru not to give excuses.

Now waiting for his FS and sending him positive thoughts.
