hello guys. after the 300th time replay Yuzu's LP performance at the Worlds, I spotted two coaches of Maxim Kovtun among audience. They watched him with all attetion but as expected, no clapping or standing at all. I wonder what they think about our boy...

300th time?

Not yet there, but I think I'll end up watching it as often as his R & J 1 2012 Worlds LP performance. Both are great in their own way.
Re the Russian scouting of Yuzuru, you must have indeed been watching it that many times to notice

. As I previously posted, I think among the young guns (those as young or even younger than Yuzuru) I see Maxim Kovtun, Jason Brown, Joshua Farris, Han Yan, and Boyang Jin as his possible rivals in this quad and in the 2018 Olympics.
As GPF, Olympic, and now Worlds champion, Yuzuru is now the benchmark for the up and coming skaters in much as the same way that Patrick Chan was Yuzuru's "sun," which he said he must surpass. So I am not surprised Maxim's coaches were there to take notes. I'm sure they noticed how great a competitor Yuzuru is saving that quad sal and triple sal and what Maxim must do to be competitive with Yuzuru.
