I remember at the end of his FS for the 2014 World, one of the British commentators said “we shouldn’t have doubted him”. After all these, all I can say is never lose faith in him, never. He has grown so much in the past month. I love him more than ever.
My best wishes for his FS. I actually do not care too much about the result (although I want to see him successfully defend his championship). The most important thing is that HE IS BACK. He is enjoying skating out there. What a relief! I am so so so happy today.

He just looked so happy... I thought he might have been overscored a bit but when I looked at the protocols, everythong just seemed reasonable give his performance. He's been getting lv4 on all non-jump elements this season, so I'm not sure why, when he lands a beautiful 4T and 3A in the second half, and a rotated 3Lz-3T, people think he should be scored lower. He got -GOE for that combo, and it was really the only flaw. The thing is, what they want is a stricter penalty on the fall, but this is the current penalty for the fall and there is nothing you can do about that. Also when Yuzuru's jumps are on, they are beautiful and get so much GOE, plus his combo's in the second half -- so everything seems all right. I just hate how people go #wuzrobbed because he fell on one element out of many. Yes, a fall detracts from the program, but do you really want to slap him with a harsher penalty just for that and pretend that the rest of the program didn't exist? I do not understand these people, but they can all go grouse over their stale cake. 
In any case, the most important thing for me tonight was his smile. No matter the score or the reaction of everyone else, Yuzuru knew he did his best and gave his best, and his smile was simply radiant. He seems to be mentally in the game now. Being able to lay down what he has right now, no matter how lacking he may seem or how he is not in top form, has done loads for his confidence. This was what I wanted to see from him -- the graciousness, the attack, the challenge. He can only go forward from here. I wish him well for the FS tomorrow!

I can die happy now. Although I'd prefer to die happy around Monday because there's still two days left to go. Not sure my heart will survive the FS tomorrow, though.

well, it was quite a day, wasn't it? How are we gonna survive tomorrow?!
Btw Orser was signing at the athletes door, endlessly (so was Voronov). I hung around for a while but am not an autograph gal, so left after a while. I bet that was a madhouse when Yuzu left, though!
