Last time I was finally on the same continent as Yuzu (he was in Barcelona and me Istanbul)
and now I'll finally be in the same country but at different times

Yes, when we look at old pics/video, his teeth were different. He might have gotten "invisible" braces. I forgot the name, but a friend of mine had those once and you couldn't know she had them unless she told you. One of the differences was that those were placed behind the teeth, not on the front.

I understand why it's still unclear. The thing is that 2-3 cm can be a bit hard to see. I'm 1m78 and one of my friends is 1m75, but sometimes for other people it's hard to see the difference.:think:

Yuzuru has been officially listed as 171 cm for eons since he was a youngster. I believe that he is now around 175 – 176 cm based on comparisons between him and Javier Fernandez and Evgeni Plyushchenko.

Yuzuru is about the same height or even slightly taller than Javier Fernandez in photos and videos taken at the GPF in Barcelona. Javier is officially listed as being 175 cm. The following picture of the Cricket Brothers was taken in December, 2014.

Evgeni Plyushchenko is officially listed as being 178 cm and there is not a lot of difference between him and Yuzuru in the following photograph that was taken when they were practising for Together on Ice.

Ps: about his teeth? I think his teeth now look different from when he was 15. He had buck teeth when he was young.

Yuzuru's buck teeth were very apparent at the end of his long program when he won the Junior World Championships at The Hague in 2010.

The first time he exhibited perfect teeth was at the World Championships in Nice in March-April, 2012.

His teeth were still not perfect as late as December, 2011 at the Grand Prix Final in Québec City and at the Japanese Nationals.

Wow, I just realized I never saw his Sr.debut performances. His 4T was beautiful even with slow speed going into it and his 3A improved so much over the summer! It looked so stable and that distance Thank you for the links everyone

No one knows if Yuzuru is in Sendai or Toronto. Which is good because that means he's flying under the radar. I'm glad we're not seeing frequent twitter updates on his whereabouts, condition, etc.

Me too. This whole situation reminds me of days before NHK trophy which is not a good sign in my mind. Many days ago I thought he might already be back in Toronto but no. Now I think if he goes back, there will be at least some report about it. So...

On the profile page, it lists him as 174 cm which actually seems pretty reasonable. One thing for sure is that he has grown way past 171 cm, but when will they ever update his height? We can trust Netizens though, since it's confirmed they possess eagle-sharp eyes. (that was a compliment)

For some reason, I'm glad that we don't know about Yuzu's whereabouts because that confirms he can finally have some time for himself and not have the media/cameras chasing him all the time.

Did Yuzuru ever get braces or did he always have perfect teeth?

Yuzu had braces behind his teeth back in 2012. You can see them partially in a portrait in his 2013 calendar. His two front teeth protruded just a bit when he was a junior skater, which reminded me of a cute little bunny
