Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

The costume is great and I love the idea of the music...I won't listen until we have a video of the programme though, haha! I want the full experience!!!

You're wrong, he IS having rhinestones. Just look closely.

He's wearing flesh-coloured gloves, in fact. Someone on FB posted this pic from twitter, but not the source.

Thank you, you save my nerves, really  So it was gloves.
Well, cute little rhinestones on white are nothing in comparison with multicolored emmm... rocks he wore in Sochi.
(Sorry for my english, it's not my native language:p)

Just taking a break from research writing to say I am one with you guys in being excited with the new FS.... I can not wait to see the videos. Omoshiroi

I'm still listening to the music and trying to find the ina bauer moment:laugh: hopefully there is going to be one.

I'm so excited right now :drama: The costume is amazing

Next season Yuzu will be the best dressed man.

I hope that will just be one of the many titles /honors he'll get this coming season. He's due for a stellar season I think after the last which had more than its share of trials and tribulations.

And this music is not as dramatic as the ones he's used before in his LP, looking forward to see how he does with this change. Many elements will give off a different vibe than before :yay: , like the Ina Bauer (Assuming/praying he's using it)

Yes I agree this music is a change from the dramatic warhorse music he's used before. I think he'll do justice to it though not least because he is Japanese. :) Anyway, we will soon see...

I'm going to the last show on Sunday. But I think you'll probably know everything there is to know about his new FS by the time I come back (thank goodness because I've a slight problem with eh, remembering details). But I'll try!

If anyone wants to watch a 2 hour movie in a language they can't understand and about something they have no idea about, then here are the links to the Onmyouji movie on Dailymotion. There is another movie called Onmyouji II. I don't know which movie the music is from.
Part 1
Part 2

Because of Yuzuru, I have literally watched many Japanese videos without understanding what was said, but certainly never for as long as two hours. Yet. ;)

And any report from you will be appreciated. Thanks in advance mikaboo.

No prob.^^ I loved his Sochi's costume, but I agree that such big rhinestones can't possibly work for this costume.

Thanks.
Well, at least it`s not July.
Sometimes waiting makes life more pleasant. :cheer:
True that.^^ At least, we'll have little videos from the news. Even if it's only for a few seconds, it would be great to see.

Short video from TV:
Great, thanks! So, the beginning DOES match! It must be that piece of music we've been listening to (well I really hope so).

soooooo, who were the members on this thread that wanted him to do a japanese music program? (besides me). Wish granted :party2:.
About the costume, I like it a lot, very different from everrything he's worn so far. I like that the costume looks very futuristic and traditional at the same time.

My wish was granted.

Movie description from Wikipedia
Onmyouji (陰陽師?) is a Japanese movie that was released in 2001 and sent to the US in 2004. Directed by Yōjirō Takita, it tells of the exploits of Abe no Seimei, in Middle Ages, the Onmyouji (also known as: The Yin Yang Master) from the court of the Emperor. He befriended bungling court noble, Minamoto no Hiromasa, who enlists his aid to defend the Heian emperor. Meanwhile, an opposing onmyoji Doson is plotting the downfall of the emperor, while attempting to frame Seimei by unleashing a horde of yōkai to do his bidding.

There are some modern depictions of Onmyouji magic involving divination, transforming paper cutouts into beautiful maidens, and the like. Mansai Nomura is a famous kyogen actor, a type of traditional theater related to noh but of a more comic nature, and this role is considered something of a big transition for him. His portrayal of Abe no Seimei has been described as including a number of 'foxy' looks, perhaps in acknowledging the folklore describing Abe no Seimei's mother as a kitsune. The lead actress, Eriko Imai, a pop singer, has very few lines and little involvement with the plot. The film was a commercial success grossing ¥3,010,000,000 ($36,567,313) becoming the 4th highest earning Japanese production of 2001.[1] The film was also giving a limited theater release in North America where it grossed $16,234 in 3 theaters.[2]

A sequel, Onmyouji 2, appeared in 2003. Both movies are based on the Onmyouji novels by Baku Yumemakura, which also inspired a manga series by Reiko Okano.
