Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Sorry but I can't seem to watch any of these. Is it a problem on my side or was it already deleted? Maybe a password is required now. I'd appreciate if someone can help me :)

edit: Ups I read your message too late and already posted this. Sorry to hear that they just took your stuff. I'll be patiently waiting :)

On another note I really wanted to thank everyone on the updates. I've been really worried about the incident and I still feel horrible recalling the scenes. I'm so incredibly relieved that he didn't sustain any serious damages. Hopefully Yuzu recovers well and does not rush things.

Hi all, hint of the thing required. If you look at the description of the video you will find the source, and maybe there is a connection between the alphabets and the thing you are looking for :P

Just thinking, when they did the stiches shouldn´t they apply some anesthesia... man I would have been crying non stop just thinking about the niddle

Can anyway explain why 2-3 weeks is sufficient for him to recover from all these injuries ? I thought it should be longer since some are serious and he is suffering from multiple injuries.

I meant anyone, not anyway

Sorry, I was shocked to see many of my Weibo posts during COC were translated into Japanese and "retweeted" to Twitter without any of my credits. And despite I stated I don't want people to repost the audio memos or translate without my credits, I still saw it on Twitter last night, so I decided not to disclose it until I finished my reports. Please wait for a few days:)

Oh my! I can't seem to be able to guess the password correctly. :slink: I guess I'll just have to wait for a few days until you finish your report. Thank you for sharing these recordings. :agree:

Edit: Gussed the password correctly now. Thank you for sharing~!

I was actually still quite worried throughout all of today, but I felt better after reading all the support for Hanyu online. The tweets by Plushenko, Brian, Nam and the various supporting articles really relieve us, fans. Glad to know he's resting at home. :)

And about NHK, it depends ... if Hanyu feels well enough to compete, he should. But if he is still in pain in various parts of his body, it's obvious that withdrawal is the choice. Praying for him to stay healthy.

From the Chinese press :

Reported that some Japanese (associated with skating) think its unusual for Yuzu to have collision like this during warm up as he is usually very focused. They believed he came to COC ill prepared and this is because his training schedule is frequently interrupted by the need to attend exhibitions, made worst because Mao and Daisuke were retiring. It reported that Brian has complained this to JSF but JSF only responded to say they know with no corrective action done.

This makes me so angry. Don't they realise he's worn out? Both mentally and phisically? I undestand they want to use every second of his past season glory to promote the Federation but if they want him to stay strong in top for a long time- he has to get better schedulling. Why not make records of his messages for some events rather than fly to be there? And he is a student in plus.
No wonder Yuzu looked tired and pale. No wonder Brian looked obviously worried even before the crash had happenned.
There are other great skaters in Japan right now, give them some credit too.

We will never know, but no doubt his schedule throughout this summer was flat-out insane. I'm still pointing fingers at the JSF though, every news about them so far makes them sound like greedy hogs forcing their top skaters to work themselves to death for their own selfish profits. A conspiracy? I don't know but hell, I'm willing to believe that's the case for Yuzuru's condition before CoC.

If Johnny designed this we'd know already. Last year we knew he was going to design his costume in April or something like that, very soon, and he posted updates on twitter, was interviewed by Japanese magazines about it... as I said, we'd know.
I actually wanted to ask if we know who designed the LP costume. It looks very in line with Johnny Weir's past designs for himself and then for Yuzuru. But it also could have been someone else's view on what this costume could have been if it was designed by Johnny. ;) I love how it is intricate with a non-transparent feminine dress white side and a semi-trasparent black masculine side that represents the tail coat. That detail is very Johnny to me. But then again- it could be a Weir inspired design. What if Yuzuru himself had a saying in what it could look like?

OK. I'll just clear this for everyone before things have any possibility of getting out of hand: this article seems to be a translation of THIS Japanese article (I'm assuming, because I can't read Chinese) which is something of a sensationalized/gossipy/opinionated piece from a women's magazine. Although it is food for thought and no doubt we've seen Hanyu very overworked this summer, I wouldn't take what is said in here as absolute and credible truth. Let's not bring out all the pitchforks just yet :)

Just a while back we were expecting the worse when it came to his POTO costume
But now look at us, never before had we praised and fangirl over a costume of his this much until now.

Thank you for clearing that up and reminding us to take gossip with a grain of salt because I was getting to buy some pitchforks

This video is a fairly complete account of the incident. It is the Japanese feed. It shows the accident, a lot backstage right after, (including Han an Hanyu fit bumping/shaking hands) as well as the new warm up and the skate and the kiss and cry crying.
Thank you so much for this link! It actually sorted my dilemma on why he did come back on the ice.
