Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Good angle in the practice, anyone notice his edge on the flip? http://youtu.be/Zs3WYfOLUc4
I think it's better than last season but my eyes can be wrong.

I think its always been okay/semi-decent in practices. He knows how to do it correctly, and is conscious of it but becomes a bit of a problem during real competitions. Not sure if its a mental/concentration thing or a stamina thing but he lets it slip. But the good news is that it looks like he's working on it and its unclear at worst. ;)

Its amazing once you lay it out like that lol. Orser's either got the midas touch or has the luck of an entire Irish population because :drama:

I think so too. He does a lot of thing better in practice including his Flip and 4S lol. It's good to know that his flip is not that bad.
Anxiously waiting for him to flight to Toronto for practice. I hope it will be next week. Because boy he needs to rework his program, especially that luzt combo in the short.

I don't know if this has been posted yet. Yuzuru's Necklace that has 4 characters on it which is K, I, J, H. My friend told me those characters stand for: Kindness, Infinity, Joy, Harvest.

Are there any other reports of Yuzuru's discharge from the hospital? Other than the 2 people mentioned here in the thread, I haven't seen any reports or postings about it. Any further info would be great :)

Beside him being out of the hospital and in Sendai, nothing else.

I'm happy that he's out of the hospital now and (hopefully) recuperating at home. But somewhere in the back of my mind, I think I won't be surprised if a photo pops up online on Nam's or Javi's IG that states, "Look who's back in Toronto!" :drama:

I think maybe after European Championship, even if he travels this week Borser was on his way to Stockholm.

When ever he goes, I hope he is fully recover and his back and ankle have healed too.

When was the award he was going to send a video or something like it?

For a moment there, I've actually forgotten that the Euro Championship is coming up! Too much drama in the nationals thread today. Messed with my head.

I'm unsure when the awards ceremony is taking place. Would love to see the video. Does anyone else remember?

This. So much. Sometimes I wish people would tone it down a bit, especially because figure skating is such a subjective sport to begin with. But then again, figure skating wouldn't be as interesting without all of the drama ;)

Edit: not sure what you mean by "awards ceremony". Are you talking about the medal ceremony for US nationals? If so, I think it already happened, and I'm not sure about a video, sorry

I think Yuzuru is supposed to attend an awards ceremony but I think there will only be a video? I can't remember...

A little off topic...Nam also carries a tissue box with fluffy cover...looks like he has two, one named Sally (?) or something, and one other.

Is that "bad" influence from Yuzu? So Orser has to carry Pooh AND Sally in the Worlds? Poor papa Orser...:laugh2:

Lol its definitely Yuzuru influenced behavior. And Javier with his mickey mouse as well :laugh2:

Watching the nationals reminds me of how much I am less prone to have a heart attack when Hanyu-san is not competing; I have people/programs that I prefer over others for sure, but I can really sit back and enjoy with a reasonable amount of excitement.

I am very happy that he is able to fly under the radar for so long! And yes, I believe the next time we hear from him it will probably be about him training in Toronto; there shouldn't be news about him flying back (by shouldn't I mean in respect to his privacy).

Not only you. :hopelessness: My wifi actually died during GPF long skate so I had to used 3G to asked for update from my friend. And gosh that was terrific and frantic experience.
Man I hope next time we hear from him it will be from Toronto, soon.
