Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

She never gonna find it. It was like 200 pages ago...
I was thinking the same, this thread moves so fast...but I like. You gals/guys , thanks for all the links, news and translations.

I've been reading fans' postings....above all everyone wants him to be healthy, happy and satisfied with his performance :cheer2: I think if fans can do an intervention we will wrap him up in cotton wool after Worlds and take him to a place where he can rest, play his video games and study

A warm WELCOME to new members to Yuzuru Hanyu fanmily...post often and long :cheer:

So all these time he has been able to fly under the radar at the same time commuting to the rink in Sendai for his practices? He really is a ninja!!

I am in awe that in this rampant SNS age, there wasn't even an oblique reference of a sighting in Sendai (most people were wondering if he is already in Canada from what I see on the net). Kudos to people of Sendai who obviously treasure their own very much and no wonder Hanyu-san only has the nicest thing to say about his home town!

I think Sendai produced the GPF umbelievable miracle and if I could interview Yuzu I would ask him in details what kind of stellar prodigy happened in the two weeks between NHK and Barcelona

A part from the best effortless jumps I've ever seen , Yuzu showed a brand new side of him in Poto FS, I had the strong feeling he was authoritative, I dare to say imperative on the ice, which is perfectly shown by his face and his eyes expecially in slow motion … GOOOOO YUZUUUUU!!!! :cheer2:

I dearly hope that it is only a mild sprain within the Grade 1 category and not a total tear of the ligament *prayer circle*

Hi guys! I'm new to the forum. ^^

I first heard of Yuzuru back in 2012 when he won his first world medal (the World happened in my home country, France), but really became a fan during the Olympics season.

Too bad I arrive at this forum right when he got hurt again (seriously what the hell is up with this season?!). I hope the lil' ice prince will recover soon. :(

Here it is: http://sp.mainichi.jp/sports/news/20150213k0000m050019000c.html

I hope Japanese poster will help us with this.

Today, Yoshiko Kobayashi reveals Hanyu started skating since the end of January but he sprained his ankle after that.
Brian Orser said Hanyu jumps quads and he's like a machine yesterday.
But Kobayashi says, "There was wrong crossing of the communications. The latest information I heard is that he avoids training."
And his plan to go to Canada is also "Undecided. and it'll be decided that based on his conditions."

Welcome to the forum! :hb: let's hope he had a fast recovery...his ankle seems to be a reoccurring injury:no:

Before I hear about the latest injury update, I was all ready to come here and reminisce about the good old times when Hanyu-san was just coming up the ranks and was surprised every single time in the K&C when the score is revealed. Watching 4CC's Shoma and his recent competition reminded me of that and made me nostalgic of that time...

Now I don't know what to believe anymore even from official sources! :slink:

Ms Kobayashi of JSF told on Feb 12th that though Yuzuru Hanyu, who underwent an abdominal surgery last December, started his training in the end of January, he sprained his right ankle after that.
As for Hanyu, yesterday his coach, Brian Orser told that he had already started practicing his quad jumps and made a comment that he was like a machine. “There might have been some miscommunication. The latest information is that he has been holding back practices, I heard,” said Ms. Kobayashi. As for the coach’s remark on his going back to Canada, “I heard that it is not decided and he would decide based on how things go from here.”
