Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Sometimes I have feeling that JSF is trying to separate Yuzuru from Orser, but it's propably only my feeling
The best is to be at home, but I think he should spend most of time in Toronto CC, where he is in "safe" zone ;)

If JSF is trying this, it would be the most stupid decision they could make. Yuzuru is their star right now, and sure I guess they would rather have him in Japan all the time. But he became who he is now with Orser; he had the talent but needed someone who could work in his weak points and rise his technical level. Unless they part ways because of a personal matter, separating from Orser won't do Hanyu any good right now.

(I guess some of you might have already figured out who was the person interviewing Brian last night...) Here is the timeline (Japan Standard Time):

2/11 afternoon: group interview after Nam's practice, Brian said Yuzuru is recovering like a machine, doing quads and 3A, will go back to Canada next week. You read this information that night and the next morning.
2/12 at latest before evening: exclusive communication from JSF only to Japanese media (so I didn't receive it and didn't know about it until it was published), saying he injured the ankle and is not practicing, and saying there is some "misunderstanding". You read this information that night and today's morning.
2/12 night after Nam's SP: interview in the mixed zone by me and another Korean journalist (who wrote the article about Brian's perspectives on Sochi Ladies' game published today), Brian talked about "a little ankle issue", and said "hope we can get him to Toronto soon". I regret I didn't check the latest news about his ankle problem before the interview, so I missed this sentence and did not ask further question. You read this information that night from my Weibo and Twitter, but the Korean journalist did not put it in his article (I guess he didn't know about the ankle issue either, because we were not informed by JSF).
2/13 I am really not sure where this "next week back to Toronto" came from. It could be either: another latest communication from JSF exclusive to Japanese media, or another misunderstanding by someone who didn't even know about the previous JSF communication.

Thank you!

But it's exactly equivalent to what Orser said 2 days ago. and Kobayashi denied it yesterday.
I think it's still unclear whether this is the latest or not.

I've seen a screenshot of the news, and on this screenshot Orser and Kobayashi were talking. Some fans said they reached agreement in Seoul to send yuzuru back to Toronto next week.

This is all very weird to me  So Orser obviously wants Yuzu back, probably to see for himself his current condition/moniter his training situation. And it looks like JSF wants to keep Yuzuru in Japan...for what? Not sure. I know Yuzu's an adult and can speak for himself, but its difficult if you're stuck in-between your federation and your coach.... I just hope he's happy with whatever is decided.

I also think this thread could benefit from a sip of relaxing tea

It seems like Yuzuru is a parcel post ….. poor kid:drama:

Considering the way JSF has just “lost” Machida,it’s really a weird situation.

:laugh2: I was just thinking that too! But I didn't want to say it lol

Okay I give up:drama:I wanted to find the video of the news but I couldn't.
So if you go to Instagram and search an account called 'm_choco_s' you'll find the news photo I talked about.
It looks like Brian was talking to Kobayashi. It's possibly happening during 4cc because Brian is wearing that orange 'rope' around his neck. Besides, according to some people who have watched the news, 1. That lady is indeed Kobayashi, 2. Ten's coach Frank Carroll appeared in the background. This is possibly the reason why some Japanese fans said Brian and Kobayashi met and talked in Seoul. But I'm really not sure about anything:drama:

Are you referring to the clip HandDomi posted in # 16231?

https://twitter.com/yj_ever/status/5...556032/video/1

There are BOrser, Mrs Kobayashi and Carrol...

I can't believe it's been an year since Yuzu's world record. It seems like yesterday.
I'd like to watch the olympic performance again...maybe they'll post a video soon

I'm home now. Even though I registered the word 'figure skating' (in Japanese) previously to record the programs automatically, my stupid BR recorder didn't record tonight's 4CC. So I can't check the scene of Mr. Orser.
I traced the posts backward to yesterday. And I feel sorry to all of you because my post seems to have triggered, unexpectedly, the past 24 hours chaos on this thread.
Since I'm a mother of a son of Yuzuru's age, I know he's the person that is frustrated at this issue the most. And I can't do anything for him but only wait for a certain official (?) announcement. I feel tired, so I'd better sip harb tea and sleep too.
But so many people are concerned for his health condition around the world! That's wonderful!
Happy Valentin! And good night, Japanese people.
