Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

The article: http://www.kose.co.jp/jp/ja/kose_sports/fig/repo08.html
Maybe he wants to compete with his loved one, lol.

Thank you!! Is it the "ちなみに…どんなメイクをしている女性が好きかと伺うと、上戸彩さんや堀北真希さんのような感じ、そして「性格はキツい感じの人がいい!」と貴重な情報を教えてくださいました!また今一番はまっていることはストレッチだそう。次の日、身体の疲れがとれやすくなるそうです。" part?

I guess he mentioned Ueto Aya and Maki Horikita again. But what did he say exactly?

I am not sure about that especially considering Brian's tone and he said he hasn't met Yuzu AT ALL. If Yuzu is in Canada, even if he is working with somebody else, as long as Brian is his coach, I imagine they will at least find sometime to meet up a bit.

i know its unlikely but i stand by it cause no point of freaking out

Actually they asked him "the girls with what kind of make up do you prefer?" and he answered something like "I like Ueto Aya and Maki Horikita" instead, lol. And then added "I like people(girls) with tough/fierce character". Basically, this kid probably misinterpreted the whole question
I hope someone corrects me if I am wrong here. I don't really know Japanese but use translators and dictionaries.

My latest blog post: thanks in advance to everyone that reads it!!

I think that we should stop reading and analyzing every word that Brian is saying, trying to sense emotion where he may have simple stated a fact, he hasn't physically seen Yuzu. Athletes and coaches do not have to divulge every detail of their relationships and it's the speculation and rumour mill that causes issues. People are forgetting that there are several degrees of sprains. We do not know if this was a minor ankle sprain, or a severe one (the degree/grade of sprain has never been reported), and since it is a recurring injury, two weeks of therapy will not magically fix the ankle as good as new. Let's just wait and see, I suspect that while the training conditions are not ideal if Yuzu is still in Japan, that Yuzu and Brian are still in constant contact over email and maybe Skype.

A skater that is as strong and capable of winning an Olympic Gold Medal and a World Championship, is surely smart enough to know that he cannot go an entire season without proper guidance of a coach that is physically in the same arena during practices. I am simply writing off this season as a strange anomaly….and after Worlds (regardless of the result), I sincerely hope that Yuzu will decrease the number of exhibitions, take time to give his body the proper rest, and train in the summer/fall back in Toronto again!! It's a long road ahead…..Go Yuzu Go!!!!

thank you handomi for the video, seems like we have new uncles added to his fan club, i hope that user will upload his GPF LP as well, i wanna hear them go even crazier:laugh:
ughhh i missed him so much, i guess i am a victim of this decease too but i dont agree with one thing, dosing of other skaters isnt an alternative treatment at all, whenever i watch someone else i always want to watch yuzuru even more no matter how much i like that skater

Look what I've found , i think the universal sports commentors are in his fandom (though not as "fan"-nish as the euroports one) and i remember they commented on yuzuru's sp for TEB2013 and COC2014 but i cant them on youtube

Here's a video shown during the World Juniors including parts of Hanyu-san. No new footage/info in case you are wondering. ;)

Let's wish the best for Yuzuru, you might think this sound implausible but my friend who is an expert in astrology said Yuzuru has very good luck by the time it's WC at Shanghai, both in SP and LP. I believe! Let's be positive!
-------

Anyways, I am thinking about new jump combination for Yuzuru, do you think he can pull of this jump combination: 3A-3Lo
Example: http://youtu.be/NqxQ6lzb-4I?t=51s

I think he has excellent running edge from his 3A to add a 3Lo. Anyone think he should go for it?

Sigh! we want to take him home too birdie .

Thanks all for the links and info, I'm treating my IYHS by reading the GS archive of his competitions since 2011. It's amazing the prediction back then by some members that Yuzu will lead Japan to Sochi :points:

^^^ thanks for the links Lindacrow, Birdie really loves to play with Yuzu

Yuzu and Dai as nervous watching Mao, like us when watching them all skates :laugh2:

I think he can definitey pull it off, besides he has a better intro edge into an axel so it would be interesting to see him doing this kind of combo. It is worth it though- how expensive is this combination in compariosn to his current combos?

His current 3A-1lo-3S BV in the second half is: 14.52 (with 1.1 bonus)
If it's 3A-3Lo = 14.96 (with 1.1 bonus).

So just 0.44 point higher. And I haven't added the GOE. Of course,a 3A-3Lo combination will be more challenging and it's not easy to ratify 3Lo as the second jump in combination. But I think if Yuzuru really wants to, he can do it.

If he success this combo, he can do the 3lz right after that and place 3S as the final jump. I think his 3S stand alone can gain more GOE than his 3Lo stands alone.

i doubt he would do solo 3S cause he uses it for 3 jump combo, if he ever attempts 3A3Lo he would do solo 3T
btw thanks for the link, his faces are amazing, here is a GIF made by a-m-n-o-s, i love the last one:laugh:

I am saying to change the 3 jumps combo 3A-1lo-3S to 3A-3Lo because aesthetically 3A-3Lo looks more impressive, get more points, but of course more risky.
He can easily keep the 3A-3T.
