Looks like there were no fans at the airport too, just the regular arrival gate with people waiting for their loved ones? Good job not revealing his flight schedule, etc. I saw somewhere that maybe since JSF is not getting them to wear jackets with "Japan" on their backs (for safety reason), they've now changed to the Japanese flag masks? That was quite funny when I was squinting at a blurry picture trying to figure out what was on his mask!

Skaters don't have to go to every practice, so hopefully he is getting a good rest now and ready for the practice tomorrow morning. Javi, Nam, and Hanyu-san are all in different practice groups so Orser can have undivided attention towards his star pupils.

I know this has been discussed before, but he's an athlete first and foremost, and it's hardly his job to have to deal with the insane amount of attention and fangirling/boying he gets. With that said, good luck to Yuzuru!! Hoping he stays healthy and happy and that he has a great skate

Yeah that's kind of weird since Javier has never spoken about Yuzuru that way. The rest does sound as something he would say but that first part is kind of weird. But well, as long as they don't find it offensive, whatever.

The Dailymail isn't exactly trustworthy journalism.....the US version is known to be full of gossip and BS :sarcasm:. Not sure if the UK version is any better but I'd recommend taking everything they say/write with a grain of salt.

Agree. The reason why I became a fan of Yuzuru was because of his amazing skills. Captivated me.

Yuzu and Javi have referred to each other as training partners or training mates. It's possible the interview was done in Spanish and translated partner/mate => spouse/wife. Or I suppose the writer may have tried to "sensationalize" the wording.

Probably based on the following timeline --> Nam/Javi posted an instagram at 1pm Toronto local time yesterday at airport lounge stating they leaving Toronto. From flight information an Air Canada departing from Toronto at 1.30pm yesterday will arrive in Shanghai at 4pm today (assuming no delay). Yuzu's first practice is schedule at 4.15pm to 4.55pm.

The SP is the same content as the OGM SP, yes? I don't know his long well enough to know the order(yet ahaha).

Yes, both programs have the same BV content really. The only difference is that in the FP, 3Lz+1Lo+3S became 3Lz+2T and 3A+2T became 3A+1Lo+3S.

Oooh, I actually went to Ginza for the vertical tarpaulin when I was in Tokyo for the weekend two weeks ago. Thank you for the updates everyone, I am tied with reports so I do not contribute as much. At least I am done with that so now I can devote my time to the Worlds!!! I do not have Fuji TV here at home, drat, so most likely I might not be able to view Worlds live. But I might find some live streaming instead. Things seems to be heated much in Tokyo already, so far here in Kyoto there has not been any such hype yet... Looks like our man has his eyes on the prize! He looks fully concentrated during his arrival in Shanghai and I like that. No screaming fans and no flight schedule leaks are all good for me.
