I don't care too much for his music choice since he has some versatility, being able to do both subtle and explosive pieces, as long as it's something more original. I think he has done too much character driven and/or overdone pieces like R&J, POTO, Notre Dame ... I'd like him to be more careful and to pick a music that wasn't 'immortalized' by another skater yet, hopefully with a pleasant singer if he hopes to incorporate lyrics again 
I think it makes everything more interesting and takes the potential of the program to another level. :yes: But by 'original' I don't mean that he should start skating to Lion King (sorry Florent) or Winnie the Pooh's theme

While going through photos & videos from worlds (so many great moments which made me , 
and 
), I came across a reply posted on this video by Christine Sun regarding Chinese Fan Club:
"Thank you ! I'm one of this large club. Up till now, there are 11737 registered members ( I just check the latest number). And the number has been keeping growing very fast since 2014 CoC. During this competition, I met the ones not only travelling from other places of China but also who are studying in UK or Japan just came back to cheer for Yuzu."

Thanks. I think Yuzu has the versatility to perform different styles of music. It's only a question of having the stamina to complete the technical elements and perform at the same time. It's less of a problem in the SP but a bigger problem in the LP. He will probably try different style of music in the future. If he does choose a Japanese theme, I think Kenji Miyamoto would be a good choice of choreographer.

Thank you everyone for showing your inside thoughts about that, There are some posts which can be very helpful. I like people are in logic.
I am OK that some people don’t like him, of course, not every single person has to like him (his skating). It's normal as generally champions get love and hate.
but what I really don’t get is that they easily swear just “he is overrated” severely without any explanations, most of the time. I see it’s quite unfair and disrespectful.
I would accept if each of them has her/his own reasonable opinion why/what/where he is overscoring/overrated. but I’ve never seen of such a thing from them.
As for as I’ve seen none of them are persuasive, unlike amazing Yuzuru fans here. :thumbsup:

Agree. Anna is totally gorgeous.
Sorry for being off topic but may Ziggy RIP. Before I made an account and was lurking on forums. His posts gave me so much info when I didn't really understand the sport at all. And I completely agree that although people might argue politics and scoring of the sport there is no doubt of yuzu's raw talent and is definitely not overrated. Sorry for always seeming to be off topic. The threads move fast and for some reason the quoting other people icon never works for me.

Ziggy was always very critical of Yuzuru's posture when he turned senior, but you know, no one has ever ignored Yuzuru's raw talents.
You can like or not his skating, but that's totally personal preference. There are still many old comments that praised our kid as an astonishing talent and they were amazed by his great effort. About score there will be always discuss as the system is no where near perfect or reasonable sometimes, but people has eyes and they have acknowledged his talents ever before he get famous, that is an obvious truth. So I can tell you, Yuzuru is definitely not overrated, especially about his talents and mentality and commitment to FS.

You took the word right out of my mouth. Gosh he is drinking a lot of stuff huh(electrolytes amino acids I'm guessing?)? And he even took the time to peel off the label of his water bottle. Speaking of which, I've been wondering why we haven't seen any hand-made water bottle covers from his mom this season. I think the one he brought to CoC that matched his SP was from a fan. I am guess she only does it to kill time when they are in Canada. She has more things going on when they are in Japan so no time for sewing!
Oh I am totally betting on POTO masks to be present in the cheering-section.
Is that what we call the kiss&cry at WTT? Or is there a name for it? If Rika is there she'll totally be game for anything, but Satoko will be hard to impress. Girl hides her emotion well! I was high-fiving all the skaters at the gala at this year's Skate Canada and Satoko came around and gently touched my finger-tips.

This brought tears to my eyes when I saw it in the gala. This rink meant so much to him. Also I noticed in the video Han Yan hugged him a little before that and he patted back on the shoulder. Good luck for those two boys.
