Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

A true cheerleader... Seriously guys, now I want Yuzuki to come back more than ever! With skirt, pompoms and all the stuff, lol! Ok, not gonna happen, I know, but the image is hilarious. :D

Can we petition for this to happen? :points:

Haha, even the TV program is mentioning how there's a big possibility for the "removing mask" gesture to be used in the kiss & cry :)

I felt sad that they don't include the pairs and dance in this though; they are stressing how much this is a team event, and team effort towards victory, but yet as the host nation they don't even include the whole team...

Why didn't JSF include the pair and dance teams? Are they not in Japan during the press conference? Their signatures are on the flag...the ones in English I think.

More about Worlds 2015
Ending of the small medal ceremony, Yuzu kept bowing to the fans even after went down stage....good boy

Beautiful photos from Worlds
SP#1, SP#2
LP#1, LP#2, LP#3
EX#1, EX#2
Anna Pogorilaya and Yuzuru from her instagramI'm going blind because of all that beauty.
Misha Ge's 2015 World Championships Gala Highlights video. Yuzu is very cute and definitely having a lot of fun....so happy that he is happy like that
Sorry if I'm being off topic but here is the small interview Yuzu gave to the French television during the gala. Nelson still has a tendency to cut people mid-sentence to translate into French but I think Yuzu cope with it very well ^^

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXDAd6P5OC4

I don't think French commentators knew a lot about Yuzu's poor condition before coming to Worlds as they didn't mention it in their comment of the free skate. They're talking about him feeling pressured or nervous mainly, as Nelson does in the interview.
Special flying Pooh , I hope he keep this one

Someone videod the 2nd K&C. How did that stuff toy landed in there at 0:45min? I wonder whether it was for HanYan. And Yuzu tried to throw it back and landed behind the TV
New video of small medal ceremony.....Yuzu stop being so endearing. I can totally understand the screaming and I'm not even there.

WTT 2015
Press conference
Heres the full version. Its geo-blocked in the US though, so you'll need to use Hola/proxy app

These are some clips of it, but not geo-blocked:

It is on nico and tudou. (This kid is teasing kanako again by saying she is his senpai, wwwwww)
A video showing Yuzu naming the team Japan of the Opera. He was so confident and funny: ''I am phantom, you (kana) are Christine'' ... And I felt relieved when he finally said Mura is also a phantom (instead of Raoul).

Newest blog entry about Yuzu and his little rituals that he does all the time when he skates. There may be more (off camera and during backstage warmups), but these are the ones that I like the best.

This lunchbox is so cute! I think I will never be able to make myself eat it!
Nice pictures from getty images.
Thank you, つゆこ san.

As far as I know, Rids don`t speak japanese. As for pair-they are junior team, they would probably feel awkward there.

The old friend is Nobu. I mean the one who Jeff choreography for. Nobu mentioned it in his blog.

Thanks. Nobu once came to my mind at that time but I denied my thought immediately due to the music choice

I never thought he wanted to skate to such a kind of the music still surprising.

For me, it was that horrible feeling when you realize that your mother is fan-girling over the same guy you are...and now with Yuzu it's happened again! :hopelessness:

I am assuming your mother is fangirling as a fan auntie, not in the same way as you (a young girl). You girls are so young. I feel ancient.

I don't know if 32 (33 in June) belongs in the "ancient" category, but if it is, then I'm ancient too. :p

I don't know if the language barrier and the pair being junior is the issue. Well, in a way, I hope it's "only" this. But still. Japanese Ice Dancers and Pairs really lack of attention compared to single skaters. They could really benefit from being more exposed.

It's unfortunately the case that in reality, most broadcasting corps usually only focus on persons are well known and events that are famous. The same applies to hk tvb that no matter how much we want them to broadcast fs competitons live (inc Olympics and world's ), because we don't have very outstanding skaters, we never get to watch any!!!

I think we are going to reach 20,000 posts very soon.

Didn't realize that there's a post number on the top right hand corner until you mentioned it!

Btw, I came across a Chinese article about yuzu's sister's coach talking about yuzu and his first time on the ice. He said that yuzu was very very brave and basically raced through the ice (though most will basically be too scared to walk without holding onto some handles, not to mention skate at full speed! ). And after a while, he fell hard onto the floor and climbed back up straight afterwards and raced again across the ice as if nothing happened! he's such a brave guy since he's young! so much affinity to the ice and the sport too!!!

I'm fangirling as a 20 year old at heart :p

Pamina, I am ancient too
At least our fangirling keeps us young  silver linings and all that

I guess technically we're not ancient. But more often than not I can say that there's like a decade between me and the skating babies  so I think it's totally legit to at least feel ancient.
