Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

And he's the tallest! :) (I suppose he is since he spreaded his legs a bit in the photo and still looked taller than the others)
He's just impossible to hate really!!!!

And I have now successfully made my mum kinda interested in fs now and I guess I might spread my IHYS to her soon if I make her watch more of yuzu with me

Oh I didn't notice that! He does really! When I first got into FS and seeing some top skaters being hated then saw him, I thought no way anyone would hate this kind of guy :laugh2:

I manage to get my mom interested in FS (again) too! She used to watch ice dance but now she prefer to watch men with me. When she watch GPF she was going  at Yuzuru's TES score and keep saying in loud voice to me "Look at that score!!" and I'm like "I know mom! I'm watching it!"

That's what my mum was saying beside me too! She happened to open yuzu's poto performance in gpf and kinda watched it herself without me knowing it (since i watched it on her computer, so i guess youtube automatically recommended her to watch this), and she was shouting and screaming when yuzu fell on his 3ltz (lols)! and since then, she always ask me to show her yuzu's performances in every competition. She also kept telling me that he's handsome and talented!~ (I had to try hard to keep my enthusiasm and fangirling within me though~) When I later started showing her Yuzu's performance in Nice, she went like this -->

Sorry for this long post, but I had to let this excitement out or i'll go bonkers for bottling my excitement up~

lol it's okay! Your mom is so cute <3 I can almost imagine it of course you will get excited I would too if my mom went all out watching Yuzuru on her own!! Having my mom watch together with me enough to make me go super excited already  It's more fun to share the talent of Yuzuru Hanyu. XD

Bah if he actually does 3 quads in the long (loop, toe and sal) + his layout with the triple axels in 2nd half he has won already. I am not sure adding more things would be wise. Even with only two clean quads he'd probably win.

I actually think putting two quads in the short program is a super huge risk.

But we'll see how next season goes.

Also concerning 4A, he said that he already tried jump with 4.5 rotations. So it means he tried it before (and landed it??)

I actually think in some ways it would be better to split amount of quads for two programs. 2 in SP and 2 in LP. But if you mess it in SP you can be in trouble. Anyway as I changed my look on 4S. Hoping for LP layout with 2x 4S and 1 x 4T :hijacked:

Nope I don't think so, from the latest updates he made (which was last summer in his 'free talk' with Oda and some other interviews), he said that he could only manage to do 4 1/4 rotation, which means 1/4 rotation short of a 4A, but yeah, that shows at least that he's interested in trying it :drama:

Though I really want to see a beautiful 4A, since he could jump 3A so wonderfully, I'm only happy to see it if his body is able to take it and he's training safely, if not, i'd rather i never see this jump in my life!

^ Agree, I'd rather see Yuzuru being healthy than seeing him struggle with 4A and 4Lz. No need for such risks. Health is the most important.

As far as I know, 4A is not safe for health. So, even if Yuzu does land one in practice, I highly doubt it would be put in a program unless he has a way to train it safetly (after all, with Papa Orser as a coach, maybe?...).

4Lo may be possible but I winced when watching it, I thought he was going to twist his ankle. I don't think I'll like seeing this in a program, from him or anyone else. 2 quads in a SP? I hope not. I think Kotvun tried this once for this season and, well, even if he's not at Yuzu's level, it got him in trouble. One in SP is more than enough.

He does plan on going to 3 quads like it was planned for this season (before the accident). It could mean 4S, 4T and comb 4T-2T? Then he could keep the 3A-3T as well in this layout? I like that comb.
