After looking at some of his costumes, I think he hasn't tried yellow or green yet, think he can try these colors someday? (This topic might sound silly though~)

here is yellow one speaking of costumes , i remembered the 1st time we saw chopin one and most of us didnt like it but when watching today's encore with parisian costume, i thought it looked weird and how the original costume works with the music (well main problem for me was his neck line) and i decided that i will have more faith in his costume decisions

I love the fact that Nanami-sensei is still working with him these days; she must be so proud!

This is a video of the

team EX practice plus the actual performance.

Here's an interview with Nobu and Matsuoka plus team Japan (no ice dancers or pairs again...)

that took place just before the EX. They talk about Kanako and Satoko's hair, Satoko's "guts" pose, and the fist pump between the two men, among other

things.

Another new video of him during WTT, the camera followed him around for the 4 days, so there are shots of him warming up, backstage, etc. Treasuring this time that we can see so much of him...after last night I am imagining it'll be a while for us to hear/see him again.

Also, did anyone realize that he did his cleanest short of the season...................... at the gala of WTT, and with a Lutz Toe Oh dear.

Haha, Hanyu-san himself noticed that! He said in the interview right after the EX (where he was still sweating like crazy) that "the only clean program is my EX..."

Thank you! (And to the translator as well). This is very interesting and heartwarming to read! One of the first thing that caught my attention about Yuzuru is the stability of his jumps as well. He has such beautiful axis, thats what set the quality of his jumps apart from others (aside from smooth and sure landing). There are many others who has beautiful 3A (in terms of height and distance) for example but I have not yet seen others who has beautiful axis like Yuzuru. Thr routine he did before every skate really contributes to ensure the quality of his jumps and I seems to remember coach Nanami Abe who keeps reminding him that when he first learn Quad toe.

And Yuzuru became a translator for Shoma... who would have thought

See even girls jealous of Yuzuru's figure. I want Yuzuru's type of lean body too.

Shoma said he will never beat him but he want to get as close as possible. I think he is right. Yuzu is unbeatable (if he is healthy). :yay:

I'm rewatching Team Japan gala performance again, lovely piece by the team.

There was something else beautiful about Yuzu's performance besides the way Yuzu stands before the music starts and the glorious ina bauer. However, I could not put put my finger on it. Then I read this comment by youtuber Marsh Maro on Yoshida Brother's Storm video "Those crossovers Yuzu did before being right on note for the ina bauer!! Didn't know crossovers could be so BEAUTIFUL!!"

Hey I don't know if this was posted here, but here is a montage of Yuzuru skating to "young and beautiful" by Lana del Rey and I have to say it is SO BEAUTIFUL. Now i want him to do it for real seriously!!! It also came as a surprisingly deep reflection on Hanyu's enormous popularity and star-like status...

I know this is old but I just want to make it clear, well about...several dozens of pages ago we heard of the tabloid in which Denis Ten said something not good about Shanghai, then there's mention of skater and his staff make it difficult for him to get on the bus bla Bla and that maybe he implied Yuzuru. I have just found the video in which the interview happened and we can be sure that there was no such a thing.

My Russian friend translated it for me and you can be sure that Denis did not say any bad thing about any skater at all. He simply said the organization wasn't very good, there's some troubles. But then again even Worlds at Saitama got trouble with the location (hotel was too far) so I guess it's like that for many sport events.

The fact that they are opposite is what make their interactions always fun. Yuzuru is all smiles, high fives, group hugs, and Shoma just nods and smiles awkwardly.

Their most recent one sums it up. The other junior boy looks mildly terrified though ...

If my lipreading is right, Yuzu said "Orita?" (landed?) to Shoma and Sena. Shoma said yes, and Sena said no. -All the guys tried a jump at the Finale.

The height difference is enough to make a pair ha ha, maybe Yuzuru can throw Sui. But yes no one is better for Sui than Cong Han.

Although I expected to see a funny side from YUZURU in K&C but just like what i said before he is serious in whole event. What did he do when he sat in cheering zone? he studied (very seriously) other skaters' performance. here are some clips:

* in pair FS: He was very interested in how pairs did the throwing and lifting. he watched the replay very carefully and discussed with Muru and Chirst Reeds.
**in Lady's FS: After Liza finished her 3A in FS, he and Satoko's coach discussed it. he even simulated the jumps (doing some pre-jump action and turns)

I would say he just like attending a jump seminar not a happy and funny WTT.

OK, actually there are some cute clip in WTT.

1. He did wear the pink cat paw gloves for 5 seconds. (the cute cat paw gloves Kanako and Satoko wears in KC)

2. He danced "YMCA" (did make the movement of Y-M-C-A )with Go-Chan in ice-resurfacing time.

3. After ladies FS, when everyone was going to leave, he help clean the Japan cheering zone.( pick up the trash and put every tools into bags...)

He was also lifted by Francis during the wait for awards ceremony, Japanese fans said he did a very beautiful position in the air

No lift though. But in the picture he and Mura tried to imitate a throw jump apparently. I love it that he brought a mask for Kana and shoes for Satoko, handing them to her while standing on one knee aka Prince. Such a nice service for the team.

That's right. Lotte and P&G are partner of JSF. Meanwhile Ajinomoto is one of affiliation for japan olympic program. Hanyu-san's adds that have no relation with JSF are MH4G, that Love in Action by red cross cm, a contract with a mattress company (sorry I forget its name) altho Hanyu-san never shot a video cm for this brand yet, Phiten (also no video cm), and Batchlin(?) (also no cm)

I agree with you. Shoma is very talented but he had to work very hard as Yuzuru did at his age.

Well, tabloid. Poor Denis, he is the victim of tabloid this time. No wonder no big Russian website re-posted the article as they all know it was fabricated. I'm glad that my Russian friend helped me to clarify the issue.
