Poor baby seemed tired indeed! And I love the crowd's reaction to his apologies: *That's okay babe. You were as cute as ever so we got what we came for anyway* ^^
Something that always baffled me in this performance however is the mysterious lipstick/pen (or whatever he uses to draw the heart on his shirt at the end) that magically disappears and reappears. I mean it clearly seems as he loses it when he falls on his first triple axel, but then at the end he still has one to draw the heart, and when he turns around there is the pen lying next to his feet. Well I assume he's just thrown it away as he turned around. But how did it come back in his hand because I didn't see him pick it back up? Unless he had two, just in case he lost the first one... :think: (Haha I'm clearly overthinking it!)

What fascinates me is his personality. My reaction to him is the same as Takuya Kimura: amazement at such "a complete person" for one so young. I attribute it to his high degree of self-awareness and, as Takuya Kimura noted, exceptional self-discipline.
I think what is fascinating about him is that he really seems like a "complete" person in many ways: beautiful inside and outside of course, and even androgynous to the point of blurring the frontier between masculine and feminine (like you don't need to choose, you can be both).
A back-shot is fascinating for many things: it makes the other one look vulnerable because seen from the back and unaware of being looked at. And this vulnerability gives you a power over the person you're watching. Like he has power over you because of his beauty, but you get back some of this power by being able to watch him from an angle he can't really control or see (I don't know if I make much sense ^^). It reminds me of Nagase Tomoya saying in an interview with Ueda once that what was the most appealing in someone's physical appearance to him was "the back of their head" (Ueda had a *** face at this moment ^^), because that's an area of your body you can't really control (your hair can be all messed up and you're not aware of it for example etc). He also said it's an area you can hit to kill someone haha. Anyway I think I got what he meant.
