Guys what do you think of his Believe EX? Would you like to see this EX in galas of the next season? I've watched it uncountable times by now and definitely want it as an EX for the new season, but considering the lyrics are in Japanese I doubt he will perform it overseas.

If he doesn't get a real ex after coming back to Toronto for practice by Mid July, then maybe he will use Chopin or Hello I love You/Vertigo in gala outside of Japan.
 
I really love Believe, but I'm ok too for Chopin with spread eagle-3A-spread eagle :yay:......I sounded like a broken record but Believe spread eagles are gorgeous with deep edges :love:.

It would be nice to see it as an EX, but as you said, as it's in Japanese, I think at most we would see it at NHK (if he goes there) and Nats. But I wouldn't mind either seeing a new EX or Chopin too ^^

I would LOVE to see Chopin as an EX for 2015-2016 though Vertigo and Hello not so much. I like Yuzu's rock star persona but these exs are just so old and overused already. I'm all for Change though:cheer: I'll miss his lovely FTT so much

Other skaters have done EX in foreign language (like Stephane with his "Ne me quitte pas") before, so why not? :)

But french is different from japanese - it's such a "stylish" (in a timeless sense) language. Besides, Jacques Brel is a musical legend in Europe (not only), and not even Swiss (he is Belgian). Plus the song itself is famous and has been sung by other musical artists too (like Nina Simone). It's like Lara Fabian singing 'Je suis malade', or Garou in 'Notre Dame de Paris'. It's very different from some local Japanese pop star.

Well French/ Portuguese/ Italian/ Spanish are all romance lenguage, so all of them are similar and even share words, Japanese is unique, and if he were to use japanese music nobody will understand a word.

Mmm, good point, guys. I didn't think about that regarding the latin languages. :yes: At the same time, people would focus more on his skating than on the lyrics, lol! :biggrin: But yeah, regarding what you say, it seems very unlikely.
I guess we'll see once the season starts which one he will do. Or maybe he'll have a new one we haven't seen yet? THat would honestly surprise me, but... well... Yuzuru is kind of a master when it comes to surprise.:laugh:

It was already beautiful the way we saw it on FaOI, but he may have time to change it a bit if he wants to. Though now, his priority is finding a right way to include a quad in second half without it resulting in a fall or UR or both.

Yes! How many times he got me astonished until now! :drama:So I can’t possibly take my eyes off him also in the future.

And yes, what’s most crucial now is he can be prepared for his super difficult competition programs so that he can eventurally reach the point where he'll do it flawlessly at WC. (Personally, I want him to make a new EX for competition…But it comes down to him, his practice time he could have..) Anyway this summer he is hunkering down to Toronto and doing intensive work. He’ll have more time to practice than last year. That much is certain.:)

Very much so! This week, I’ve spent some of my time thinking about his new program that’ll show up this weekend:p. I remember last year I read about a tweet by TV broadcast or so officially announcing his music, which said “This year’s music is piano work by Chopin.” And it was the very day of DOI. (Sorry if my memory was wrong.)
