Yuzuru is a figure skater. This should come first here.
I'm really looking forward to seeing him in Finlandia. Thinking back about the last two seasons, he may do better performance than the first GP game.
Does JFS decide who goes where? Like did they appoint him to go to Finlandia, or did he(plus his team of coaches I assume) decide to go there?
It's kind of interesting how he has always gone to Finlandia instead of Japan Open, but yes, only three more months to go.....

For Senior B competitions, its up to the skater to decide. The federations don't have power over that.
And Yuzuru has never been to Japan open because its by invite only and since he's not signed with the companies that sponsor the event (or any management actually), they usually invite Kozuka and Daisuke since they're contracted with them. It'll probably be those two again this year as well. Even if Daisuke declines, I highly doubt Yuzuru's going to go. Maybe Machida or Mura will get the invite.

From Twitter reports: Yuzuru had a long convo with Empress and then had to mop up his brows as he sweat. Looked relieved when he took a glass with a tomato juice afterwards. He also had a convo with a Princess Mako (Maco?) as she held his gold medal. After the Tea ceremony he gave interviews outside and journalists thanked him for that. He replied: Thank you for working on such a hot weather! (That is so thoughtful of him! I admire that!)
Then he said that right before the big convo he had some tea and that cause him sweating. (Ah-a, never mind plus 31 Celsius and a winter jacket he had to put on for the ceremony).
Crown prince Naruhito asked a Q from his daughter Aiko: what is Yuzu's brand (best) jump? Yuzu said it's axel because it's so successful for him, asked to transmit his answer to Aiko. Prince smiled and said he would.

Edited: in every narrator says about quad in 2nd half of his SP and then mentions that Yuzu considers doing the same in FS too
