Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Noto-san tweeted this and this.

In his first tweet, he said he hasn't chosen the cover picture yet. He also said all the pictures in the photobook are in poster format and those that he never published before and the size is a little bit smaller than A2.

In his second tweet, he said he has provided those pictures he took from Finlandia to Sendai TV station. The station made those posters for NHK Trophy. He has those posters on display in his office now and it will be displayed in subway stations as well.

On a side note. I'm watching the Jr Grand Prix Nagoya livestream now and just saw BOrser there a few minutes ago. I guess he has to accompany not only his top students, but all of his students to their competitions. Wow!

She said that Yuzu has a strong mentality and is concerned for others as well.
This!:agree: He's an amazing person, I truly admire him.
Thak you so much for translation!:) I wish I have a possibility to study Japanese because I am curious about the way sentences are made in this language after what you wrote and the previous discussions on this thread.

I can't imagine photobook with A2 size pictures. I think he refers to poster (which is first-press edition bonus), that is used currently as cover placeholder at shopping sites like amazon.

I really like Sunao Noto's photos and hope this photobook will be available on CDJapan, amazon doesn't ship to my country :scowl:

Looking at date of the second tweet and photo, it's about Japan Nationals poster last December, not NHK Trophy...

Orser accompanied three girls, Liza Turzynbaeva definitely is the best from them. Michaela Du Toit was pretty much the same as she was at Junior Worlds. He was also sitting in Kiss'n'Cry with Netta Schreiber, who seems to be training in Cricket Club too (didn't recognize name of her coach but she has choreo by Wilson and Buttle).

hmv had it listed, if CDJapan won 't list it it could be an option for you.

I found this video recently, and almost cried. This was posted in 2012, so some of you might have seen it before.

This "Haru Yo Koi" is one of my favorite songs, and it is so touching.
The lyrics are written in a bit classic Japanese, and it matches to the story of Yuzu and Nanami sensei very much.

Thanks SuzyQ for providing your translation on "Haru Yo Koi", I've watch the vid before but now knowing the meaning of the lyrics makes me  more watching the clip again.

If you guys REALLY wanted Yuzu's stamp collection and have enough money to spare CDJapan could purchase it for you. It's quite expensive though because there will be a service charge and shipping is by EMS only.

ayarose thanks for sharing this special service from cdjapan! I order from cdjapan quite a bit but never knew about this service that they have. While the fee is not cheap, but it's also not outrageously expensive. I pre-ordered my stamp set through another service and their service cost is around the same price range.

I think Noto-san must have heard the outcry from the Yuzu fans when he announced the release of Miki's photobook!! Can't believe our pleads are answered so quickly already XDD As I ordered the photobook I've also added the calendar along as well, which I wasn't planning to get at first...but for the sake of shipping....oh I might as well >_<...

Professional photographer Noto-san is publishing Yuzuru Photobook on Oct 24. First print comes with an A4 poster. Noto-san was Yuzu's dad's student.

*headdesk* Well, I already bought his blu-ray, might as well get this too! I feel like setting up that amazon japan account was a very bad idea for my bank account o_o So this is literally like a coffee table book with photographs on Yuzu?

So with the news of his photobook coming out, I'm really tempted to buy it (even if the shipping costs are high). If there are any eBay sellers, I'll probably purchase the book from there.

How much is international shipping to North America on Amazon.jp?

I feel like with the release of all these items, I'm gonna be broke soon. :slink: But I guess it's great for us fans who can't help to buy more merchandise. ;)

OMG! I really need my coffee! lol

BOrser seems to be a nice and caring coach. So far is training philosophy seems to work. I wish him to have continue success in his coaching career.

After learning how much shipping costs, I don't think it's that expensive anymore. For some reason, shipping from amazon.jp before was an insane amount of money; now the price for shipping is obviously reduced. Thanks for the answers!

I think I'll buy the photobook as an early Christmas present for myself.

imagine him wearing a half-mask on ice that would look like this?

Oh goodness that costume is horrible! I do like the red one from the movie, but it seems like it would be difficult to do quads with a jacket. cape, heavy belt and sword. The costume anticipation is building...soon we will know. ;)
