Thanks for the links and translation.

Anyone could translate or provide a gist of this fanart, it looks funny

Seems like they are talking about his new Chopin costume, that will be better if these are slits instead of the golds. (if only there without exposure restrictions) ?
I don’t know what to say properly. :p

New Article

Basically, this article says that at Skate Canada, the media paying attention most is that Yuzuru Hanyu and Patrick Chan, as that will be their first competition together since the Sochi Olympic. Chan who rested for one year with Hanyu who competed throughout the last season despite the circumstance as the biggest highlight.

Again: The 2015-16 ISU SB list intentionally does not include the Autumn Classic.
Thus the 2015-16 ISU SB list does NOT need to be updated b/c of the Autumn Classic.

The 2015 Autumn Classic was a non-Challenger international.
And scores from non-Challenger internationals do NOT count toward official ISU Season Bests and official Personal Bests.

Oh I agree with you. What I meant is that that list is proof that Autumn Classic doesn't count towards SB, because that list has to be up to date and well, there is no Autumn Classic there. Not as in "the list is missing an update", but as in "that list is up to date because it's about this season". So...yeah, sorry if my comment was misunderstood.

Ooooops, sorry that I misunderstood :hopelessness:. I was wondering why we seemed to be going around in circles .

Happy that we are in agreement :).

Thanks yhmafan, too funny that pooh and vegetta wish for have slits with exposure instead

That 4lo at Autumn Classic practice was beauuuutiful

Yuzu's photo in the Bunshun article is so beautifully pretty, I think it was at the start of the lyrical (soft) part of Seimei. I noticed we got many photos of different expression in every of Yuzu's performance.

All the best Yuzu :cheer:

I second this quote!!! There are a lot in his newest book but of course it would need translation from native Japanese speakers. I was finally able to get the clear folders from Aeon a while ago! Such a nice way to start the weekend... For every 200 Yen spent on whatever variety of Xylitol gum you get one free folder.

"I am me. I am neither greater nor less than Hanyu Yuzuru"

And his advice to younger skaters: "Efforts do not always result in better performance. But, I don’t want any of you to hesitate on trying harder. The mere action of trying hard will benefit your lives. By putting in effort, trying hard in practices, we, as a person and as an athlete, grow to become a better person for the society."

Those are ones on the top of my head. I was actually just thinking about that second one a few days ago.....

I adore that one! When I'm feeling like absolutely nothing is working (med school side effects), this quote always gives me the extra push to keep trying and do better next time.

It seems he sends out fan replies once a year and usually during periods he's off/on rest. I remember last year, it was around the time he was hospitalized. Congrats to everyone who got one! :cheer:

I don't know for other countries, but in Russia it's a common gesture among kids which is well-known by everyone. I think everyone did this "Batman" thing when they were kids here  I did too...

Same here in Japan! My brother did when he was a kid too lol. I guess, they are playing their heroes such as “Ultraman” and so on…

And here is already the fanart of the thing. (Yuzu fans are so fast, I will add some fanarts more later.)
