It seems my wish for less difficult entry has reached him. But of course... He will upgrade it throughout the season. He looked pretty solid in practice. Just a couple early stumbles on the 4T.
The take off is different than were used to seeing. More curved, instead of straight down the ice. Definitely still steps going in but perhaps more simplified.

Simplifying them is what I mean. Of course he is still doing steps; that's a requirement. But he's doing the usual 3-turn into the 4T now instead of 4T suddenly happening out of nowhere.
Those pratically clean practices this early at the season are making terrified, I swear.I won't be able to watch him live this time, but good luck Yuzuru!

Yeah, at this point I just want him be healthy, good enough to make it through to GPF...and peak at Nationals and especially Worlds.
Pretty much all I can ask for.Me thinks the same, lol. Practice is practice after all. It's your performance in real competition it counts.I keep my expectations low. I expect 1 mistake in the short and 2-3 mistakes in the long. If he does better than that in competition, it would be a bonus. If he skates not so well, I won't be disappointed.
Actually we dont need him to peak for Nationals , he should peak for WC
Oh guys, he looks scary good...I am so excited, but I dont think he will be foot perfect, I expect 1 mistake in short 1/2 in LP

Haha should also take GPF into account. I wish him all the best at GPF and worlds!!!Actually we dont need him to peak for Nationals , he should peak for WC

Just. Breathe. Thankfully , I'll be too worried about Uchimura defending his World title for the next few hours to think about Yuzu....but then my worry for Yuzu will sky rocket again.
Goooo Team Japan (gym and skate)!![]()
Yeah, at this point I just want him be healthy, good enough to make it through to GPF is fine with me...and peak at Nationals and especially Worlds.
