Yes, we can debate scores and things on the other threads that are dedicated to those topics. the Chan v Hanyu thread and the Skate Canada Mens events thread. :ghug:

I don't want to venture in that thread. I have said enough what I want to say. My point is, I am kind of surprised that some fans think that quality alone with long set up and not much transitions should get such huge GOE.

Ya know....I've seen these same arguments on different threads in this forum. Because so many points have been rehashed again and again, I thought I could take a breather coming here. Seems I was wrong. :slink:

I really feel you. This make me very depress especially after being so happy that Yuzu fought back :sad46:. I'm leaving this thread for a while.

I'm really looking forward to NHK Trophy. Hoping for smashing performances by Yuzuru and the other skaters participating. :hap93:

Aaw don't be upset, Alia~ I'm sure it'll eventually die down.. unless some people are just so determined to start the topic all over again. Just try to skip over it if possible. :ghug: <-- so cute the emoticon

Thanks for always sharing and compiling stuff! Come back soon~

I'm also excited for NHK!! I just have to try to idk probably exercise to manage my nerves so I'll be ready by then lol.
Let's hope the practice has been going well for Yuzu. :agree:

we should keep his thread calm, positive and supporting, there are more than enough depressing threads in this forum. :hpull:
I am so excited to NHK, but still recovering from SC tbh ....I think 3 weeks will be enough for our recovery and Yuzu to polish his programs. Gambatte Kid :cheer:

I planned on going to NHK Trophy but that didnt materialise. Instead, I will be lighting candles at home for Yuzu :D

Thanks, Marin. I haven't seen this video before. Much appreciation :)

Well, at least the discussions here are still civil. All the other threads are one step away from name calling. Or have passed that stage and are now flat-out insulting. I kind of understand why some people wouldn't want to participate in those discussions. But still, I also understand why some people see the Fan Fest as their "safe harbor". And I guess that was the intent of the Fan Fest, so maybe we could dial down the score debates a bit? :ghug:

Sorry to have ruined your enjoyment of this thread... Honestly I just wanted to share my opinion on the result of the competition because I feel as a fan one should still be objective (Even though this is not an objective sport, hence the heated discussione because in the end everyone more or less has a point), but you're right that there are lots of threads on this argument already so I'll try to refrain my self from talking about it in the fan fest...

Yeah. Ahaha--I gree with you there Pamigena. Although I should thank the Lord that I don't understand what most of you are talking about most of the time (so I scroll down a LOT when I see longer posts), it's still ahm *thinks so hard* :sad21: and :palmf:

But if the purpose is to get this thread 5000 pages by NHK then---:clapper: (just joking)!:peace:

Ooh hopefully next time for you!
Well, if that candles will bring positives and luck then that would be great great! (you know.. sometimes candles are used for uh.. not celebratory stuff *knocks on wood*)

The time during NHK will be convenient for me but I can't be sure yet if I can manage to stream online. I'm kinda conflicted as to if I should try to watch live or not haha. But I think I can rely on my feeling this time (it worked on SC).

I think despite everything you guys are doing well in maintaining the atmosphere (for the lack of better word) in this thread. I hope this thread will always be some kind of a comfort and safe place for everyone visiting. :)

Hahaha :D Yeah, maybe I should prepare two types. One for praying, another for celebration :yahoo:

EDIT: I realised that I have no need for candles for celebration. I will have FIRECRACKERS.

IFS Magazine wrote a small article about Yuzuru at the Autumn Classic :) he said he feels he's training as well as he's ever had but Brian told him he didn't look 'fresh enough' during the FS, so he needs to improve his endurance even more. He said he felt his scores at Autumn Classic were higher than he expected.
Brian said that getting over the silver medal at Worlds took him about 5 minutes, he was then very decided to win again (sounds like him). And that last season, he probably was in his best condition around Nationals.

But didn't he say he's sufterring from abdominal pain at that period since gpf?? I always thought gpf was the competition where his mental and physical health might be the best that season, and how about wtt? Idk..... let's all wish him to good season ahead!
