NHK just showed a short video of the gala rehearsal. Yuzuru was being so cute with Nanami Abe and being a big brother to the National Novice champ from Sendai, Shun Sato. I wonder what he'll skate to. Will we see the lettuce costume or the orange sorbet costume or something totally different?

have watched almost every video available, including those languages i don't speak(thanks all the nice people for posting translation), wondering, NBC hasn't shown this? or did they scheduled to?

BTW new to this forum but not new to figure skating and Hanyu,i have to use VPN to access this site for some unknown reason and twitter youtube have been both completely blocked out in our country or the network i'm using (maybe you can guess where i‘m from)

Nanami is there again! That means she probably got to see his historic skates, right? It must be so incredible for her, to see how far her student has gone!

Well they HAVE to show Yuzu, he is the headliner of the event. Not to mention you know, he broke like 3 world record!!! They might even show his short program. They did for Asada when she broke the world record at worlds.

Its always so nice to see Nanami w/ Yuzu again....:sad4: I love that she's always there to witness his most important moments even though they're no longer coach/student. Talk about a bond that will likely last a lifetime

WHEW!! After like 30 pages I'm all caught up. I'm just as giddy as all of you. And I totally knew the Vegeta Over 9000 meme was coming . I can't say anything that hasn't been said already. I just know people that paid thousands for their tickets to this on the resale market got their money's worth. I'm so glad he didn't take his 2014 OGM and run.

Also, I'm purchasing men's and ladies events for Worlds when the tickets are going on sale if anyone is going.

I'm strongly considering going and plan on buying men's and ladies events too.

I just showed my mom Yuzu's FS. Even though it was a repetition, she stood up clapping after he finished. And when he made his #1 sign she said 'Yes, you're #1 there's no doubt about that'. My mom's my best companion to watch figure skating
And now we're staying up until 3am to watch the Gala because of him
