I was so sad when I realized that I set my DVR to auto delete recordings and lost my fluff that I saved for Hanyu at the olympics
Awwww....I wish I would have know better and record all the Olympic coverages from CBC and NBC back then. I managed to record the gala but then that got deleted by my DVR too
Sounds like Yuzu is the Santa Clause at the local mall taking picture with kids

because there actually was a Santa at the local mall and the queue to get a picture was usually crazy long

There are no words that can translate our emotions. I'm still ecstatic happiness. I am very happy with our dear Yuzu, mainly because it is healthy and happy. I always believed in its potential, but 330 points was unimaginable. Yuzu is unique. It is a rare jewel as a human being and as an athlete. The gem Yuzu 300, the phenomenon of figure skating.

I´m guessing Yuzuru will go to Japan to prepare to Nationals. What do you guys think?

Well he has about 1 and a half weeks to prepare for nationals (same time between NHK & GPF) so I wouldn't see why he would not go back from Toronto... I don't really think Orser want him training by himself after last season anyway.
My guess is that he won't come back to T.O. until after that show in January. He stayed in Japan between NHK/Barcelona, so this is no different. And, it's too much travel. Hopefully he'll have time to relax a bit after nationals and then gear up for the 2nd half/most important part of the season when he comes back.

I feel like still in awe with all that have happened. I feel privileged to be able to 'see' it happening. I too hope that Yuzu will be able to get sufficient rest before Nationals and will rest his mind too.. as I realized how much he's endured and held back inside until GPF. Him letting out his emotion like that touched me and I'm just glad everything worked out so well for him.
Again, it'll be tough to keep being on the top of his game each and every time but I only wish the best for him.. first and foremost, is for him to be healthy.
So happy for those of you attending GPF that you had a great time. I so wish I live in the US so that I can just book my tickets and go to the Worlds haha but oh well. I'm sure there's always next time.
