I deleted my post because I think it generated some improper comments. I deem extremely unnecessary wanting to be close to the athlete or idol. I imagined dangerous and the concern of his mother. His image is exposed worldwide through the media, magazines, books, newspapers and etc ... My desire is that it achieve its objectives. I respect your privacy. But this is my thought. Unfortunately the popularity limits freedom. We need noentanto, respect differences and express our thoughts very, very careful not to offend people with our words.

Hello - I did not see your post, but I think the "Fanimals" posts are making fun of the fans. So NOT encouraging that. I am probably the same age (or older) than Yuzuru's mother, with a 20 year old daughter. If I were in that situation, I would insist on 2 full-time bodyguards (4 at big events - I don't think Mama and Kikuchi should have to play bodyguard since they aren't trained), and I'm sure I would have

I now understand why Yuzuru did the ANAN photoshoot. It allows his fans to see "idol-like" pictures and have some access but in a controlled way.
That's your right. But I'm not going to delete my "improper comment". There was another Yuzu-incident the first day of practice at the GPF (read about it here if you want) and back then we also posted about having a good laugh about the herd instinct he seems to inspire. If people do that sort of thing, they better be prepared for what others might think or say about it. I refuse to tiptoe around the entire human race.

I think what you feel is very correct, it is true that his loss of privacy is a bit scary, and I think we all agree
But unfortunately I don't think this will ever stop for him as he becomes even more and more famous 
so because we can't do anything to stop it besides hope for his safety at all times, instead of becoming angry or sad, I think some people deal with it better to make jokes instead. But I heard the biggest-selling issue in the past before Yuzuru's was the one featured cats (you can see this issue left side in the picture)

Yeah, the cat pile appear to be the smallest compared to Yuzuru's or naked men's pile.

That fancam of Yuzu after practice. The second half made me uncomfortable but at the same time it's a sight I'm pretty familiar with. Fans following their idols.
On the other hand, does anyone notice him waving at Elena Radionova after crossing the street (in the first half) and Radionova actually acknowledged him (I think she smiled too) before she went
??!! at the ladies/fans trailing behind Yuzu lol.
I've been pretty busy but I'll be here for Nationals. Hoping he's training well and is in a great condition and will be able to perform his best!

I go to San Diego Comic Con every year which attracts 130,000 people. There are tons of Hollywood celebrities around promoting their films and they have security in tow. Flocks of fans are honestly par for the course when you're famous so whatever issue there is here is lost on me to be honest. For Yuzu, I was actually impressed that nobody approached to him.
