I liked Bump of chicken performance (just the band's name don't make sense to me :scratch2:)
same here :laugh2: I actually tried to google that because it always made just so little sense to me. I have no idea if it's true, but I read that they actually wanted to call the band something like "cowards strike back" and then they got a really bad case of the google translator

I already knew this song and this music is totally not my style but gosh it's so catchy
I merely googled this. I don't really get this band....... Apologies to all the fans out there, but the incredible 90s-boygroup-vibe I'm getting from them is just too much for me

If this is the same Arashi I've heard of, didn't they actually start out in the 90s though? (One needs to give it to Japanese boybands, they hold on strong, One Direction can probably only dream of longevity like that.)

That said, I almost burst out laughing at the a$$ slapping.:laugh2:

Did they steal the choreo from a Hugh Grant movie, or was it the other way around??

All that hip-thrusting. My eyes!

1999 according to Wikipedia

And what do you mean, almost? :laugh2:

OMG you're seriously trying to kill me, aren't you :rofl2: I already nearly died when I saw that movie for the first time! I haven't been laughing so hard in years.

They are a 90s boygroup. It's just boy groups in Japan last a lot longer

Yep, the boy groups last long---even when they get a bit too old for that description ;) . However, I still like them better than all those teenage girl groups like AKB 48 and all the spin-offs, which make me cringe everytime I see them, but they have lots of fans.

I seriously don't think Yuzuru will be able to put 4Lz in his layout, he only has two years and the jump doesn't seem consistent at all.

He is trying to "steal" the 4Lz from Boyang.

----
ETA: I am more optimistic about 4Lz. At least he doesn't have the lean on the 4Lz. He used to have a big lean on the lutz (3lz and 4lz attempts) and that looks a bit scary. I think he just needs a bit more height to complete the jump.

The gist of this Yahoo article translated by Shuko Doyle @YHIFG FB

A singer, Kaori Mizumori appeared at the event which was held at Yamano musical instruments shop in Ginza on the second of January. She sang 'Yamanoji no Koi' at the Kouhaku uta gassen (which is a traditional Japanese singing show broadcasted live on every New Year Eve) wearing a heavenly nymph costume, on the gorgeous fire bird which was set high up in the air. She reflected on her own performance and said, 'it was a good feeling. While I was 'flying', I saw Masato Sakai, Masami Nagasawa etc. waving from their judge seats, but I know the one who kept waving till the end of my performance was Hanyu-kun.". She was moved by one of guest judges, figure skater Hanyu Yuzuru's 'kami taiou' (hard to translate, but it is like a godly warm reception/manner).

Just checked the WC homepage, only all-events tickets can watch the practice session in TD garden ( the 2nd arena are closed for viewing). And no separate practice ticket will be sold. Well, I just wish there would be some WAR (maybe there's practice tickets exchange outside the arena?

Because one can never find those things when you are looking for them...

Could anyone help find that beaufitul picture, I think it was at an ice show, Yuzu styling his hair in a mirror, with all the other guys in the background, everybody laughing and/or being silly.

Thank you very much in advance <3
