My blood type is O. I can donate my blood to you.

Thank you Meoima. May be this is one of the reason why Yuzu endorses the "Love in Action" campaign, he knows his fans need blood transfusion some days

And, just because my IYHS starts rising:
His beautiful spread eagle-3A-spread eagle

Nevertheless, time flies. Three years ago, Yuzuru was not so famous as he is now, even after he won the bronze medal at the Worlds. Not so many people knew about him as figure skating was not a major sport in Japan (maybe it still is not in a meaning). It is very likely that this is him.
Maybe :confused2: But if that's really him, why hasn't the company cashed in on this by now? I mean in a PR kind of way, like "hey look who we got in our commercial before it was even cool to have him in your commercial!!!"

Actually, someone just remembered in the course of talks there had been a rumour that it was Yuzuru when the photo was released. They say it has not been told so far. Just IMO, as this is the photo three years ago, people concerned might not take notice of, or not be conscious of who he was as he used to be rather unknown athlete excepting for figure skating fans. In any case, if it is truly Yuzuru, the truth would not be known until someone in the shooting crew or staff remembers who it was  Till then, we can just enjoy guessing :p

Yuzu confirmed that he changes choreography on the fly depending on how he feels at the moment...I wonder if this is something a Choreographer doesn't mind (because it means he's comfortable in the program) or really dislikes (because it's not how the choreographer made it)?

I personally like it because it's super interesting to watch. even the emphasis on certain beats is different from competition to competition.
The opposite of this approach is someone like Fred Astaire who would perform exactly the same way every time, even if you put his performances side-by-side it's difficult to tell the difference. (I love Fred's approach to dancing as well)

Which do you like?

this is so good! laughed really hard at many of them

well I think many of us became his fans exactly because of that quality, it's very fun and interesting to see in each performance these little changes that make every performance especial :)

I also don't mind that he's changing the choreo from time to time. It's like playing spot-the-difference . That's why I don't get bored watching his competition videos on the loop because you'll always notice some changes in his choreo from competition to competition/and even in shows. You'll just go like, "Oh, it was done differently in ____," or, "he changed this from this,"

No wonder Yuzu made some choreo changes, since he himself was able to make big changes to adapt Chopin SP to his brand new monstrous layout in 20 days only and to create a masterpiece , just another Yuzu's mystery ! :rofl2:

I really love how Yuzuru changes the choreography from time to time based on how he feels skating in that moment! It's a quality that is unique to him and the way he expresses the story/movements in his skating. Then, each performance he gives is different than the previous ones so we can see small changes from one competition to the other (for example last season's POTO).

I mentioned in a previous post that I enjoy when Yuzuru is in ninja-mode, under the radar of the press (to train peacefully without distractions), but now I kind of miss him being on the news every so often. Can't wait until Worlds!

I think the choreographers wouldn't mind much. Some may even like it because it means he connects to the routine really well and makes it his own, "His little moments" as Kurt said  Brian was right when he said you never see the same program twice with Yuzu and I think that speaks volumes of his talent, not only as an athlete, but as a performer
