A friend of mine has got the tickets of WTT on Thursday (SP of mens & ladies, and ice dance) :yes2:
The seat is "C", second floor.
....
Congratulations on getting tickets for WTT! I hope you have fun, it should be a great competition. :)

Thank you for relaying information from that magazine to us, interesting possibilities. I love O Fortuna personally for the grand drama and overwhelming power, but because it is a bit overused in skating, I'd love if they use an
alternative (my greatest hope would be Filet by Benoît Jutras), much like how Ashley Wagner wanted to use Carmen but Shaelynn Bourne suggested a similar vibe with Moulin Rouge! (which was a great hit for her! :)) But I think if he did do O Fortuna, it could be amazingly great, possibly the defining #1 program for this warhorse  Final Fantasy has many songs similar to O Fortuna that would go viral for sure if he skated to them at the Olympics!

As for Tchaikovsky, it's funny that I just mentioned I'd love him to skate to the Trepak, or even something uplifting and grand like the 1812 Overture, but Piano Concerto no. 1 is also lovely.

Thank you for those videos you linked, it's very nice music and montages with Mao and Plushenko. :)

Then, how about "Ghost in The Shell" by Kenji Kawai?

(The lyrics are old Japanese that I don't almost understand.)
Amazing music!! Haunting and mysterious. And definitely not overused

Well, I liked Rika's Carmina this season. -But I'd rather something else for Yuzu.

I also like Rika's Carmina, just sad she changed costume, I like the original one, so avant garde. If it comes down to Carmina Burana, we know Yuzu can pull it off. :) Well, Phantom is still one of my fave Yuzu program. Who wouldn't love a dramatic Yuzu.

I just hope that if he chooses to go with classical for one of his programs, he goes with something a bit non-conservative for the other to balance it out and show the variety in his expression. It's especially important at the Olympics, I think, to show something "contemporary".

SuzyQ, Avalon sounds awesome :)

Hmm, I'm not sure what to think about Carmina (could fall very flat if not clean). But, before I heard any rumors, I had resolved to trust his long program choice. He's earned it over the last two seasons. In my eyes, he's never had a bad short, so I wasn't worried about that.

I don't think his POTO was iconic, but I did enjoy it and admire how well Shae-Lynn placed the elements with the music. I would prefer less well-known music, but some warhorse programs can be standouts. In recent years, I think of Ashley's Black Swan, Akiko's POTO (have you seen Yuzuru mimic her ending pose because it's adorable), Machida's East of Eden, Carolina's Bolero. I'm probably forgetting some of my other favorites. RJ1, obviously.

The thing I like about Seimei and H&L is they feel like programs only he could do.

Next streaming at 14.45pm Japan time.

Looks like he was asking Shizuka that they should do the pose per the monument. Looks like she saying cannot in that dress
