It's interesting to see which types of pronunciation problems can occur to different native speakers. I had a Japanese classmate who always struggled with German names like "Angera Merukeru" or "Düsserudorufu". It was hard not to chuckle - that was just cute

My parents have been speaking English for about 20 years and they can say 'r' and 'l' but can't say the 'v' sound yet.

And then, headed towards Worlds’, he was actually in the best form right now, the best he has ever been in the 5 years he’s been with us. Wasn’t sick, wasn’t injured. Really the best condition he has ever been! (t/n Brian really wanted to emphasize this)

I couldn't be any happier than this!! :yay: I really hope he'll stay healthy in this hard Olympic seaon!!
