Is there a link for the chinese fanvideo of the practice outside of Weibo? I believe some people like myself who don't have a Weibo account cannot view it. Maybe even uploading to that other chinese video host (Meipai (?)) or that japanese one Youku, idk something like that may work. Or of course Youtube. Thanks!

The video seems to only show up for me after reloading the same link a few times. And once it does, I can view the link without any problems even without a weibo account. I've downloaded the video but I'm not sure if it would be okay to reupload it somewhere else.

I can click on it as much as I want that It doesn't appear to me. It redirects to Weibo's main page.

Well, it's okay. Thanks anyway.

Aww, I saw a weibo clip where Yuzu was doing the stsq for RJ1 during Han Yan's music :luv17:

lol hi thats me.
I was actually thinking about this the other day. It seems like so many different fans like different aspects of Hanyu's skating. Some like the bling, some HATE the bling, some looooove the Johnny Weir influence and some can't stand it, some like the more dramatic aggressive side, some like the more gentle lyrical side, then some like the somewhat sexy :scratch2::laugh: rock star side of him. Some like him for his impeccable jump technique, some for his musicality, for others it's his ability to tap into emotions and release them in an unprecedented supernova of a skate. Some like his unpredictability, some would rather him be quite a bit more consistent  It goes on and on. How can people say he does the same thing over and over when his fans can't even agree on which side of his skating they like best or what direction they'd like to see him continue in

Back to your point, in your case, you seem to care about lines and toe-pointing. It's perfectly valid, and I'm sure there's others that would like it too (you do have a + rating on that comment!), but the responses to your YouTube comment that other people don't see it as significantly is also interesting. Anyway my take on it is that his boots are some of the clunkiest and ugliest in skating and truly are confirmed to be next-to-impossible to point your toe in (and he just upgraded it to an even MORE clunky and stiff version ), but it's the price to pay for keeping his poor ankles together. Whenever he's injured, it's almost always the ankle, I think he's had a hairline fracture since a long time ago that leaves his ankle super susceptible to injury, and in my opinion it seems to be why he sticks with it. I'm not sure the flexed foot could've survived Tracy Wilson otherwise ;) I just don't see him improving this aspect of his presentation due to his own limitations as an athlete who currently has to land very difficult jumps. I mean I don't think I particularly care about toe-point (I mean, even Ice Dancers with the low-cut boots and more flexible fabric isn't really pointed at all for my taste) so I'd rather him focus on continuing to improve his upper body line and control, but who's right and who's wrong? No one is. :)

I also cannot watch weibo videos, but it's possible to download it with flvcd.com - just insert the weibo link, push GO and there'll appear some links for direct download.

Do you have a link to the video? I was completely expecting him to do that when I heard the music haha. He can't seem to stop himself from doing the choreographies when music he knows come up.

Thank you soo much! :thank: This site gave me some beating with all the chinese characters but I made it through. It only showed the links to download the third time I tried. But I downloaded it finally. :luv17:

judging by practice and interview he seems very confident, let's see how this translates to competition

and his lutz seems improved too, he had perfect air position on it for first time since very long time

You have good eyes... after practice he says about 4 loop “TODAY ive got another certain reaction (prospect).” Further he says his rival is himself.

Anyway, he seems to have controlled his mind and body conditions today consciously for peaking on or after tomorrow. If the way works well, it will be a good result for him! He sometimes lowers his condition towards a competition even when the official practice is good.

thank you everyone for all the info/video/pictures!!! so excited for tonight! :hap57: i really love this program, esp stsq, i think chsq at Seimei was more effective than this program's but still lovely!!
and i think he should replace 4S with 4T , this way even if he cant land 1st 4S with combo he will have another chance at it (because i think there is no way he would agree to doing combo in 1st half ) and also he will have less risk of repeating 3 jumps instead of 2 in case he pops his 4T

its an article from another view
http://www.tokyo-np.co.jp/article/sports/list/201610/CK2016102802000253.html

The number of his jumps were few compared with other skaters’ and he skated slowly in many scenes.
The media had waited for him for his interviews for 30 minutes. JSF explained that he was icing his leg. He appeared in 30 minutes and was asked about the detail, but he didnt want to explain about it.

Shirota-san has the outlook like that it will (may) be difficult for his leg to get perfect soon.

But he behaves positively saying his score was 80 or 90 points this day.
-----------------------
I knew his leg condition keeps not so good:cry:. But all i can do is respect his choice and keep supporting him. His competitor days wont be so long. i shall cherish every moment which he will give me, even it is good or bad .

Some twitters say his judge that he put priority over interviews is wise. In an article about worlds 2016 he regretted that he shoud have done icing before he got interviews.

Sorry what did Shirota say? can you clear it up a bit? she just said his left foot is not in perfect condition yet... stating his left foot isn't in perfect condition
JSF staff and Ms Shirota accompany him to meet the press ,He said in such condition he will be aiming to a clean performance

I don't think there is much to worry about, this kind of injury need a lot of time to get back to its best condition.

the article only shows one sentense of her “パーフェクトな状態にはなかなかならない”, so i dont know the context and the nuance of this sentense is vague. Anyway it means like that it may be difficult for his leg to get perfect soon. (i edited my post above. )

yes, most of his words and attitudes were positive. he wont reveal his leg condition.

Guys I fell asleep RIGHT BEFORE the second practice. :bang: When I woke up I found all your comments, videos, interviews :thank: I think his training in stamina already shows, the fs looked less disjointed, the choreography more sharp, and he could immers himself more in the music. It already has more impact than few weeks ago! Our boy has worked hard :cheer:

About the cm I have a lot of contradictory emotions  (mainly about the gold ruffles :hopelessness:), but the making of was pure cuteness :luv17:

Edit: what about his leg?

As I have known from people it seems this kind of injury might never heal fully and become chronic , but as long as he uses physio therapy regularly ( like football players do) he can live with it very well. Just will need to take care of it all the time.

Shirota said he is not in his best condition yet, but it is a big change, isn't it? They said that he is not at his best yet before the competition..I think it is a good move

Also he usually put the ice on his leg after practices, glad he does it right after skating and not rushing for interviews.
