I now read this article. You can read one article for free a day, so I read it as soon as it's past 0:00.

Anyway, no, it's not about the past. He can train only less than 2 hours a day, and 5 days a week at best,
according to this article. It also says that he easily falls sick. He caught a cold this fall. I suspect it is related to asthma.

Thanks I think it is cloer to his usual regime, maybe a bit less? he trains like 12/14 h in week.

Could you please check, he used to get 5 days of training and 2 h or it is still continuing, a bit vague thanks..in the article above , i think it is in past?

I roughly translated the bold part:

"He damaged his left foot instep before the Nationals in December last year, and he did not skate for two months after the Worlds end March - April this year. It was the first time for him not skating for such a long time. It was nearly autumn when he was allowed to do one quad jump a day.

Besides this, he damaged his right ankle and left knee, so that he could not use his body fully. He suffered an array of health problems, and caught a cold this autumn. His practice time is less than 2 hours a day, and 5 days a week at most. He has to reduce his amount of training comparing to other skaters.

Hanyu is aware “Quality over time for training” and “It is not easy to acquire stamina.” The biggest enemy for him to win the second Olympics may be injuries. This will be the Olympic pre-season for him fighting against that enemy."

As far as I read Japanese, it is present tense. So, I think his training is still limited.

I think his sp is very addictive. maybe two jump mistakes are not that disturbing? at least to me, yeah knee landing looks painful but, some cool.. and 3a, spins, stsq !! his all spins in white pants look more well centered and fast. It's not surprising that he got level4s. Anyway, honestly I don't know whether I hope soso or good practice. I think anything can happen, as always best luck to yuzu.

landed 3 quads, it seems they changed 4S3T to 4S2T, I guess to get more energy to land 4th quad

3A3T(from stand still)

and of course FALL ON 3LZ

In this interview it is explained that he knew something went wrong with lo but instead of natural fall and rotation, he did differently, it was natural reaction of his body to protect himself from injury it seems kind of some "PTSD"

and because left foot injury is still under treatment he gets less training 5 days in a week no more than 2 h on the ice, because he is protecting his left instep sometimes his left ankle and right foot is hurt, (easier to get hurt) same happened before scac his had small injury on ankle .. it seems...

So he instinctively opened the arm drawing to the body and stopped the rotation.
about 4S, he didn't do the second 3T because he tried to avoid injury. It's his body (instinctively) reacted.

Thank you Marin, that actually explains a lot.

he did 3A in just a few minute from the start! Very yuzu.

not so bad a practice. he seemed to have a smile after the fall of lutz.

Yeah but the first 4S and the 3A is kind of hangs on though. The first day practice was better but if he can actually do what he just did there in today's practice in the actual competition I would still consider it a good skate (pop on lo and fall on the 3lz included).

EDIT : I always wonder why he didn't do a 4S2T +3a3t instead of a 4s3t + 3a2t for this layout. It is more beneficial because if he pop his 4T into a 3T he doesn't need to change his 3A to avoid zayaking.

wow only two hours of practice? He must be really frustrated :( if he does it like he did now in the actual competition i would be happy :D although i felt that he was very tired near the end :(

Anyone know what jump he landed or attempted outside of runthrough? I am already turning off my screen :)
