Anyway, if he would have lost his eligibility and participation at Worlds for skipping this, knowing his character, Yuzuru would probably still skate regardless of his illness and his performance. The seminar between ISU specialist and staffs at my ice rink has just finished. We were taught a lot. They talked about spin and step sequence levels. One of the examples was Yuzuru's last spin in his SP Let's go crazy (at GPF). The specialist said Yuzuru had 5 good features in that spins but too bad they don't have level 5 for it. :luv17:

According to GPF results, their world ranking, as well as their best scores of this season, I'm quite sure Yuzuru and Shoma are fixed. It is difficult to think Shoma would fail to reach the podium. Only question is who would be the third man. Mura may be the top candidate, but Keiji may have the chance if Mura has failed the podium and Keiji has.

As to 4CC, I'm not sure about the members. But, it is quite likely that Yuzuru wants to go, and he will go if his condition permits.

As for Yuzu's qualification for 4CC and Worlds, well let's think about what other Japanese men made it to the world/4cc podium in the past 2 years? Well, the decision should be clear if JSF is being logical. However, with JSF it's not always about the obvious decision, sometimes politics will be in play. I'm pretty sure Yuzu will get the World team spot, let's see if he can get the 4CC one as well.

I don't think he is already in Japan. Besides, before he announced to the press of his withdrawal, he would have had discussed it with Brian first so maybe Brian is already aware of this possibility since before.
