Any news on yuzuru's recovery? I do think it's about time he went to Toronto to continue his training. 4CC, Worlds, and OG are coming sooner than you might think. 5 weeks of training before competetion isn't enough anymore. Also I don't think he should do FOI this year and train in Toronto instead.
Q: What do you think he and his team of coaches are going to do about the second quad sal in the FS? Is his late foot injury the reason he doesn't do the quad toe in combination or he just wants more points (higher BV)? And why not put the quad sal in combinaton at the begining of the program after the quad loop?
Q: do you think he might work on the quad lutz after worlds or is it too risky for Olympic season?
Well, he can't go back if he is still sick. If he is healthy, I guess he will go back in a week or two. Since we still don't know of he will attend that sports ceremony. I actually think doing an ice show might be good for him, to test his programs in front of an audience before competition. FaOI might be too long but at least DOI.
Yuzu is quite stubborn with his layout choices, so I doubt he will change that combination. It would be safer to do it in the first half, but he rarely plays safe.
I think debuting a new type of quad in the Olympic season is too risky. Brian said Yuzu decided to do the 4Lo this season so he doesn't have to go through the struggles of a new quad next year. It wouldn't make sense for him to add it all of a sudden. It took a while for him to add the 4lo and we knew he was landing it consistently in practice. We don't know how consistent the 4Lz is yet. I think he might add it after the Olympics if he doesn't retire.

that's why Yuzu is participating there now
