Thank you! ^^ I'm not getting used to typing here.. Everything is new for me heheh

BTW I'm curious, is there a vid of yuzu skating his SP in Japan Nat's 2010? I found it in YouTube but without the audio...

Not on youtube nor dailymotion.

The costume took a while to grow on me, but I love that program. And this year he does the swan again ^_^

You should be blunt, I think most of us are adults here. There has to be a way to make everyone co-exist, nobody should feel like they have to leave this place permanently and days like yesterday are always going to be chancy.
If the answer is we self-police more during those days when emotions are running high, then so be it. If it's particularly bad in the competition threads, point it out and ask for a break.
Pointing out to people how what they say is too much should be done. Pointing out what is upsetting should be fine but putting up with somewhat of a release valve on (quite short) occasions because we'll all blow sooner or later should also be fine and having room for a bit of a mope is also needed.

I think if there's no malicious intent, we should be able to agree overall and back off sometimes or allow leeway. But we can only know if we talk to each other because we really do have different reactions/thresholds. It won't be perfection all the time, but most of the time, it should be good. Too optimistic? :ghug:

As I said, for me, it really wasn't 'a short release valve or necessary moping'... I'm sorry, but I don't think we'll find a real agreement about this - and it's not as if I was meaning your posts. I'm fine with what you're saying if it's about the 4S discussions, but some of what was there yesterday is really a no. Again, the stuff that for me gets disrespectful towards him as a person is a no, no matter what (and I'll say that bluntly too then, I'm mainly talking about Meoimas comments).

But, this will really be the last thing I say about this here, as I don't want to drag this out in this thread either. I'm not the most active person in this thread anyway, and I'll stick to I should definitely stay away, at least when the bad depression hits again. I'm not sure if all FFs are like this, but I feel like Yuzus is really attracting a lot of it, and it has been that way every now and again since I remember (and I just skimped through the early pages and realized my 1st comment here was on page 7... now that makes me feel old :roll9: ).

In no way I want to be disrespectful to him as a person. That's my reaction when I care too much. I intend to leave the thread so people will feel better. But since you mentioned me, then I'd quote you and say I am very sorry to make you guys feel bad.
I am just a pessimistic person. Maybe I need help with that. So I will seek help. That's why before I leave I said he would win to lighten the mood.
All of this doesn't stop me from feeling disappointed. But I should not drag people along with me. I have nothing else to say. I am sorry that I was too negative and make people feel worse.

I generally like you and your comments very much, and I'd hope you know that - so by no means do I want you to leave the thread in general either (or any other sites/groups you're in/on). Thank you very much for the apology. Next time, can you try to let us cheer you up?

Please don't leave this thread! You're entitled to your opinions and there is nothing wrong with being a pessimist--studies have shown that we pessimists actually possess a more realistic view of the world than optimists do. And it turns out you were absolutely right that his SP wouldn't go well.

And no, you weren't being disrespectful to him. It's obvious how much you care about Yuzu and I really appreciate your posts here and on FSU, even the ones I may not agree with. You have nothing to apologize for, Meoima.

Let's be positive guys ^^ Remember in a competition, there always someone who win and lose.. And there is a luck or bad luck.
Yuzuru now is in the fighting mode.. I'm sure he want to find the key to solve his problem.. And he won't give up until he find it and solved it.
For me now, it's enough if he enjoy his skating (I love the way him smiling).. he already achieved soooo much in a young age.. I will thankful if he get more than that.. Will supporting and cheering for him till he retired (I'm sure I will cry if that day comes)

It's been some time since I was last here, after seeing the 4CC SP results I'm not sure if I want to read the last ### pages I missed, not now at least (though my OCD will make me do it later). Horrible work schedule this week made me miss almost everything but at least I can watch men FS and EX live.

Less than 12 hours until the FS, sending positive thoughts to Yuzu and H&L  4CC title is definitely within reach :cheer2:

Yeaayy Goooo Yuzuu
Can't wait to see H&L again!
I'm disappointed he can't compete in Nats, but now we will see him again soon yesssss .. I hope I can watch the live stream

Yuzu will land his 4s with his eyes closed and 3t picking his nose to get varied position in the air GOE bullet. nods.

This is like experimental outing for Brian and Yuzu. It's hard to make clear sense of anything, and I'm sure the team is collecting insights from it. In addition to practice session, somewhere out of sight, Yuzu has no doubt worked at giving himself the best shot possible. We'll see it in a couple hours.
Hope he's sleeping like a pig right now

Whilst I was meant to be revising physics I suddenly had this daydream where Yuzuru was training at the rink and Brian suddenly shouted 'QUAD SAL' and then Yuzuru went and landed one...and then a 4S-1Lo-4S and then he was jumping quad salchows left and right
:palmf: I need help

I wanna see Brian yell from the boards!

Oh my oh my, again the same circle of panic and dejection and despair over here? Can we just support the poor boy no matter how well he does at this competition? He doesn't have anything to prove to any of us - we love him and we just want him to be happy with his skating. If he's happy, we'll be happy.

You really can see through those pants, can't you?

Anyway, I"m all stocked up on chocolate for tonight, tomorrow for you guys not in N.A. I"m ready and hope the gentlemen can deliver programs they will be happy with and feel they can build upon for World's.

I think the situation is difficult to cope for a lot of us due to collision of two factors - Yuzuru's strive for perfection and a desire of many people to see him always on the top, always successful, never in struggle.

Myself , I have no single clue and opinion about his layout and technical specifics of his programs so I'll let it to more knowledgeable and opinionated on that matter people - from my point of view, I'd like to see Yuzuru being satisfied himself and I think that sometimes satisfaction and understanding can come also from some sort of failure/disappointment. It's totally human thing to learn from our errors, then go on forward and I think that Yuzuru is showing us this kind of message, too.

The fire and passion present here, often also frustration, fear or anger, all comes from feelings about Yuzuru and I wish he would feel that force pursuing his perfection and in every moment of disappointment. I believe he feels all that energy coming from his fans.

He's one of a very few skaters I enjoy regardless of errors made, it's somehow always 'experience over package', but I fully understand Your concerns. Wishing Yuzuru lots of focus and strenght!
