If I could, I would go and write to the newspaper, really. This is beyond ridiculous - it's none of their affairs how Yuzu chooses to live and practise. :)

I just backtracked 50 pages. At least I decided to read it earlier and not only at the weekend.

The short program will happen exactly during my shift, so i'm coming here now to wish good luck for Yuzuru and for all of his fellow fans' mental health, since I won't be able to suffer live.

Also my birthday is April 6th so great skates by him would be a nice early birthday gift, If I'm aloud to be selfish.

I know I shouldn't post bad things here, but I'm really mad at this article written by the spanish press:dev2:

I'm reading it and it's hilarious.

My favourite is the part about Yuzuru disappearing like a ghost and Javier being the skater who greets fans and gives autographs because he understands it's part of the job.

I'll actually write it if I can keep my salty musings out of it, but unfortunately I cannot. It's just that kind of brilliant, inspiring premise full of melodrama re:japanese media style

Well what if you wrote it and sent it to the newspaper ^_^|||| Thanks for the inspiration LOL

Anyone who is a bit critical will realize that they are talking about Yuzu through things they've heard other people say and from personal opinions. They called Kikuchi san his spiritual counselor (in a translation i did for one of the Ex's they also call Kikuchi san "spiritual counselor".)
The fact that they say he needs someone like that (to make other competitors fall, a warlock...) feels incredibly disrespectful to Yuzu, as if he needed to turn to supernatural forces to boost his skating...
Edit: I feel that they also wanted to picture him as a scared child (the "living with his mother" and "very isolated") thing. That just shows how little they know about him... (I have my theories why Hanyu mama decided to go to Canada with Yuzu... And if i am right it's a perfectly fine reason, completely understandable as my mother would do the same) Ugh, someone delete that from the internet, it's really bad.

do tell.. now you made me curious..

but that article is crap... like what even... it sounds like People Magazine decided to tap into the Figure skating gossip

oh my they will think that it's a true story

Based on what trash they just published I'm sure they'll swallow it hook, line, and sinker then some people will be in real trouble :laugh2: Forget Area 51, the amount of supernatural creatures involved in figure skating is the real cover up of the century.

As for his mother... He doesn't really have the most robust health for a young man, and his sport is not the safest. If I have a son his age I wouldn't let him live alone in foreign country for long periods of time either... but that's just my take on it.

I read it, it is nasty. But, not surprising since you suddenly have a paper that has to cover figure skating probably for the first time (at least, half seriously, because of Javi's success) when they'd rather be covering something else and so resort to exaggerations to sell copies. We know Yuzu keeps to himself and that Javi is sociable... half the world is the one kind and half the world is the other so what's the big deal?

But to portray Mr. K like that? Maybe it's because he's always holding his hands and bowing his head and some people think it's strange?? Stupid people.

Let me write a draft for you.

Yuzuru Hanyu is actually Abe no Seimei's rebirth. So he is actually half human half Kitsune. Mr Kikuchi is Abe no Seimei's servant in his previous life. Now the story begins...

:otopic: but awesome timing

In the meantime, Zhenya talks about Yuzu again  this time to Korean newspaper

Literal translation from Japanese translation:
Respected skaters are Plushenko and Hanyu Yuzuru. They have the jumping prowess that, as a girl, it's hard for me to imitate. Especially, Hanyu from Japan, his competitions become a stimulant (for me to do better?).
