That spanish article was hilarious to read at least for me  and coming from a well-known newspaper, but there's a comment section at the end of the article if you want to use it, if people choose to believe those things... well, let them, it's their loss :p

Lmao I'm dead. A serious publication saying he's a evil ghost and his team has actual magic powers. Like....what in the world????:laugh2:

Yeah, and we were thinking to start a fanfic with fairies and wizards but what if that stupid people think that is all true :laugh2:

do tell.. now you made me curious..

but that article is crap... like what even... it sounds like People Magazine decided to tap into the Figure skating gossip

It's very simple to be honest.
Yuzuru is asthmatic, maybe he was a sickly child (depends on his triggers i guess).
His mother would probably never be able to stop worrying about him, and thinking about his child living alone in a cold country would be pure hell to her. Also some other things that i don't want to say in case i am wrong but what i can say is that i completely understand his mother, because my mom is the same: I was asthmatic as a child and i was really sick in the winter (i had to take entire months off school), so my mother was very anxious about that and to this day, she still gets very nervous when i get sick even if it's been ages since i last got sick at the point of needing oxygen.
Because of this (and some other things that may or may not be true in Yuzuru's case), my mother would never let me live alone in a foreign country.
I've read about how Yuzu kept coughing in the night when he was little, and while i was telling that to my mom her face darkened and said "That's horrible, i remember when i went through the same thing with you, not knowing if your child can breathe or not..."
I guess it's something a mother would never be able to overcome :confused2:
Edit: I also understand why Yuzuru seems childish at times. I am the same, which makes me think that my story might not be as different as his. It could also explain his baby face, once i stopped taking three different inhalers a day, i had a very noticeable growth spurt (my doctor told me it would happen, i am not sure why) although i am still confused for someone at least ten years younger :confused2: I think it's a possibility

Good night, guys! See you all tomorow! And GO GO GO YUZU!!!! :hap85:

I know I shouldn't post bad things here, but I'm really mad at this article written by the spanish press:dev2:
http://deportes.elpais.com/deportes/2017/03/29/actualidad/1490810360_619610.html#?ref=rss&format=simple&link=link

Why don't they stick to football and leave figure skating? Why?
They show Yuzuru like a ghost:confused:They say he's isolated all the time, only with his mother, his bodyward and other person, who I guess is Kikuchi- san, who apparently is a warlock, and his presence scares the other competitors... :palmf::palmf: And that Yuzuru admires Javi because he's capable of being competitive without being isolated like him. I don't know where they found this BS, but this is treated as a "serious" newspaper, not a gossip one.

Sorry for bringing this here but I needed to share my feelings :sad21:

I hope this kind of things never get to Yuzu, I prefer him living in a buble than having to read this.

ok, this is the funniest thing i've ever read. i can't stop laughing.

I'd be kind of curious to see what Javi would think of the article. I assume he'll read it and surely won't agree with those comments about his friend? Anyway, it's all silly nonsense. Nothing can bring me down I'm too excited for tomorrow!!

Well that article was quite amusing to read. I wouldn't really give it much thought, regardless of the prestige of the newspaper I've found terrible inaccuracies in Spanish articles all the time. From Patrick CHEN to saying Gracie is a world champion. Like, I'm not even sure this article is right in other aspect not related to Yuzuru as it says the top 24 skaters will be the ones who will qualify for the Olympics...isn't it a country based thing? Doesn't help that even Paloma and Susana (who are great fans of Yuzuru) get things wrong sometimes, the said Kikuchi is his spiritual guide. People who actually follow FS in Spain are much more informed to fall for this, and the ones who have heard of Javier will, at most, just watch him and read where he placed. So I think the amount of people who could actually believe this is not that big.
Don't worry, let's just keep sending good wishes and thoughts to Yuzu, so it will hopefully translate into a great SP and FS! :cheer:
