The only way he can do 5 quads without losing a 3A is to add the 4lz and I don't think he'll do that unless he's been secretly practicing it and I doubt he'd give up a 3A.
If he added a 4lz and did the 4t-lo-3s he did in practice his bv goes up by like 8 points but...I dunno if the risk is worth it. He can do his planned content with high quality to get +2/3 GOE on all/a majority of elements, which could be enough to win since if he skated clean he can also achieve high PCS but.... he might rely on others making mistakes or getting lower GOE/PCS. *shrug*
But if he tries a 4lz and falls on it then any potential boot to his bv will be minimal/lost and it won't be worth it. It's safer to go with his planned content. I don't think he will attempt a change is he is confident in his ability to land all his planned content with excellent quality.

He can't rely on others and can't rely on GOE. He will be skating early and judges not gonna do any favour to him. He must go all in

I have been very sick in the last two days so I am not going to watch the free live (to much for me). I wish Yuzu the best of luck and a skate he is happy with, I will be cheering for him :hap10:.

Yuzu, good luck for the free. Fight for your dream. Stay strong, believe in yourself and sky is the limit for you. :cheer:

This time luckily I can stream it live. Although I know that he wants to win and I wish it for him more than anything, however for me, the placement or medal really doesn't matter. He is the most complete skater out there, already a legend and all-time inspiration. All I want is just to see him happy after the free. He's working so hard and facing so many obstacles and he really deserves to be happy.

I'm sure he doesn't plan 5 quads. Let's be realistic. Today he attempted fifth quad 4T-1/2LO-3S because he popped his solo 4T into 2T, so he wasn't repeating 4T. Repeated jumps were 4S and 3A.
And I don't believe he will try 4Lz. Doing it at the end of program when tired is so risky and if he underrotates it and falls, it will have less BV than nicely done 3lz. And doing it at the begining - also risky to try it for the first time at such an important competition and risk that it will affect the rest of the program (I mean, new elements are often like that).
Moreover, we have't seen any footages of him attempting 4Lz in Helsinki. Yuzu is super talented but without practice it'll be diffucult to even rotate it for him.

He needs to skate clean and then even gold is possible. He has BV advantage over Javi and Patrick and PCS+GOE advantage over Shoma, Nathan and Boyang.
For all of them even a small mistake can make difference. It will be intense. I just pray for fair judging.

I've come home early from work just for fs
yuzu stay strong and no matter where you place today we will always support you
good luck!!! :cheer2:

Accidentally fell asleep earlier and somehow randomly woke up now at 3:30 am... Yuzu's powers I'm sure

The time is coming and I'm really nervous for him. But I know he's a fighter so... You can Yuzuru, believe in yourself and trust your body! I wish him to be happy after the perfomance . The final place doesn't matter for me, you're still the best!
GAMBATTE YUZU!!!:hap10:

No matter what happens you are the best for me. You have been No.1, and you still are No.1, there is no one in the world as good as you!
Ganbare, ganbare, Yuzuru!! I trust you!
