So, when does FaOi start? May sometime? I wonder if he'll return to Toronto after WTT to see about choreography for next year and then return in time for FaOI. Do we know the whole tour schedule? Would they perhaps not have as many shows knowing that the next season is the Olympic one? I doubt that many of the eligible skaters would want to commit to the whole thing unless they needed the money or wanted to get mileage on their programs.

Makuhari Kobe Niigata are confirmed already, almost back to back from 26th May to June 18th. He has WTT so he would be in Japan until end of April, go to Toronto in early May and go back to Japan late May for shows then go back late June if he wants to attend all (known) FaOI stops.

Really? :( It worked for me with Hola and VPN Unlimited. There's also this one form YT (also geoblocked) of Yuzu and Patrick's FS. Maybe that'll work? Hopefully it will be uploaded to YT once FujiTV stops taking them down. I've seen a couple of videos on YT (finally!) of his FS and even the whole last group's SP. So hopefully it will be soon :)

Eh, I don't read Spanish either so someone who does please correct anything wrong. Well, according to google translate some excerpts about our boy:

What I like most was one of the comments though:

So was the confidence, challenge, beauty and perfection with which he executed it. Not much. It makes it sound a little bit like everyone expected Javi to win, but it didn't bash on Yuzu this time. I thought it was kind of funny. Sure, Javi's great, but I don't think most people expected him to win after the season he had.
Talks a little bit about quads, and how the winners all had 4 quads but it was Yuzu who did it best. And that Nathan Chen tried 6 quads but fell on 2.

thanks, yeah, I just looked it up too and my brand new laptop seems to like translating automatically, :) That does not seem like too long of a tour, if that is all it will be. He'd be back by end of June to start training and that sounds pretty reasonable. Do they usually add stops later in the summer?

It says it was like a king reclaiming his throne, delicate and decisive as ice. They acknowledged his WR, his amazing recovery and said it's a display of power before the WOG. It's mostly focused on Javi. I've read several Spanish articles and not a single slightly bad thing was said about Yuzu, no worries ;)

They have not said anything about Yuzu, but some have been ruthless to Javier. That's true.
I get it, he's the only winter sports athlete they have, they want him to do well. But as if the guy was not beating himself enough for it.

But at least it's nice to see they're toning down the rivalry a bit (which is sounded pretty dramatic in the newspapers tbh), I read some who even talked about Yuzu's gesture of giving Javier his medal :yes:

I don't know for this season, but for previous seasons they have more stops like Sapporo, Nagano etc. But I think they will add more. Well one month of unsupervised training makes me a bit anxious, not going to lie, but I would like to believe he had learned his lesson and knows how to restrain himself without coach watchful eyes :p
I'd still prefer him spending more time in CC though, there are harness there for his 4Lz training and gazillion coaches watching him. :hopelessness:
 
Guys I am still reeling from the emotional roller coaster worlds put me through. I didn't post very much and my DVR broke but it was incredible. All I wanted from this worlds was a perfect, record breaking Hope & Legacy from Yuzuru, and getting that was crazy awesome! That was the performance he needed at this time. I apologized to the people I was watching with for my emotional response, because I was practically shouting when he landed the 4S-3T! The combo of doom was slain and I knew right there and then that he was going to break the world record again. This season I have wished so much that Yuzuru would win this world championships. Monday morning has hit and I can not contain my excitement. I downloaded the performance from online to rewatch over and over again. Being a Yuzu fan is hard sometimes but in moments like Saturday's I feel so blessed to have been alive while this era of figure skating is commencing. I can hardly wait to see what Yuzu does next year!
 
i haven't commented on Yuzu's victory yet but better late than never ^^ I actually cried real tears of joy when I saw the numbers on my phone and just couldn't believe that my intuition was true. I knew Yuzu could do it but it just seemed unreal when I saw how much he scored. And now I keep rewatching this programme because I still can't believe my eyes !

Max thinks it is a scandal that Yuzu got such low PCS. He is just so excited and overwhelmed at the same time, it is a real treat ;)

ITA with you. It's the Olympic season so I hope he does some of the tour, but not all of it if they add more dates. Knowing what we know about him, he might want to do all of it because he missed the entire thing last year and would not want to disappoint people. But, I hope he realizes he is better off at TCC this summer, preparing under their guidance for the most important season ever. Staying there worked this time even after all the issues he had. There is a lot of time to make it up to the Japanese public next summer after the Olympics. He can do whatever he wants then. This is the summer to be careful and work hard and not get tired from shows.
 
I realized that it's going to be such a treat to be able to watch LGC and H&L without worrying about a title :luv17: I know he might not want to go to WTT but i think it's the best way for us to end the season: A final performance, stress free (ish. I still want him to be the best and i would LOVE if he broke the SP record there)...
I'm really looking forward to WTT!
