Yuzu gave Pooh a squish before his FS too.

More fun with his mermaid pose at the Worlds gala. Is he an angel, a kitten or a seal?

Or, maybe, just maybe, you have perfect aim and throw, and managed to throw both bears so that they *did* land on their "feet", too.... and they are, in fact, your Poohs. *happily diverts the attention away from her*

Your +3 GOE always-lands-on-his-butt Pooh does indeed always land on his butt. Tests have been done!

You mean like a basket full of juicy little apples?
.....whatever gave me that idea?
:roll9:

Juicy peaches will also do!

Oh my gosh, that's hilarious!
I admit, we also had a little test in our Helsinki apartment, but somehow I didn't think it'd also work on ice. :palmf:
I followed this link, too: http://yuzuruspoohsan.tumblr.com/post/156814087473/a-m-n-o-s-look-at-how-wide-yuzus-smile-is-at I cannot tell if that's the same one or Pamigena's one, they looked awfully similar, but whu, I had no idea they were special editions. Maybe I should have sold them on eBay, I'd have made a few bucks!

Yes, the SP translation is approved, and please feel free to modify it if you find any mistakes in it. :)

I also liked their commentaries. They called his presentation of Hope & Legacy a piece of art and they also said that Yuzuru looks like a ballet dancer () + the male commentator LOVES Yuzu's costume!

Thanks  Your translation is really good :agree: Ohh, and he's a real fanboy, very cute. So much contrast between him and the ESP commentator  Now the free program and the gala are uploaded in hungarian too

and my free program translation is approved :yay: not the gala yet, maybe later :)

I checked my photos... and although it's small, I think you can see it in THIS photo.
It must have been a mighty throw, it beat all other visible plushies for distance! ;-D

(I guess most people reading this, will be unable to see it... not because it's so small, but because they will be staring at zoomed-in view of Yuzu's butt... ;-D)

Perhaps you can see yourself in the crowd too?

I wanted to say I love your photos, they are so clear and beautiful :luv17: and I found the pooh (and myself, I have a huuuge grin on my face) but it took some time to focus on other things than Yuzu :o:

You made me google it :palmf:
Your lands-on-his-butt bear
My lands-on-his-face bear

And if the data on these things is correct, then he probably got a lands-on-his-butt bear, because the lands-on-his-face bear only came out in late 2014 and that press con is from shortly after Sochi IIRC. And I should probably rename the Pooh ball lands-on-his-feet bear if I don't want to jinx anyone  (I can't believe I have started a Pooh investigation..... someone get me some help. Please?)

One word: layers. At Worlds I brought a blanket every day, but didn't use it once. Most of the time I wasn't even wearing my winter jacket because my three layers of clothing + a scarf were enough. But I've also been to a competition before where I was freezing my butt off even with two shirts, a sweater, my jacket and a blanket over my legs. In my experience it's better to be prepared for really cold and then be happy if it turns out to be warmer than expected :) (and do get up from your seat and walk around from time to time. Your body will thank you later.)
Hmmm, interesting. I'd never really thought about this. I wonder what the temperature is. Because well, I wasn't spectating, but last time I went to an ice rink I was just wearing a t-shirt and jeans. I'm wondering whether that's because the temperature at competitions is just colder or because I got used to cold winters. Hmm... I guess I'll find out next fall if I end up going to SA or SC.

Also for those who's been to figure skating competitions, what's the proper attire? I know it will be cold. Should I bring a blanket to throw over my lap? I'll be there for 2 straight days and will probably sit through each disciplines and will be there awhile.

Temperature-wise, I had a slightly different experience in Helsinki. I prepared for the cold with lots of layers, but I actually felt hot. For one thing, it was a packed house. And apparently, I get so nervous for the skaters, I start sweating like it's my own job interview :shame:

Well it probably varies a lot from person to person :) I've seen all kinds of people at the same competition, some in T-Shirts and some in winter coats with hats and whatnot. But it can also vary on different days. Last year at Finlandia, I was way too warm the first day, a bit chilly the next, and freezing my rear off on day three  At Worlds I was prepared to be super cold because we were so close to the ice, but instead it was way warmer than at the GPF in Barcelona. There really doesn't seem to be a one-size-fits-all logic to this, that's why I think it's smarter to be prepared.

Lol if I see any of you guys at SC I think it's probable that you will only be able to see my eyes 😂

I don't know if this has been shared here (maybe it has likely been shared, thread moved so fast and I missed it :p)
Fancam of Yuzuru (with Tracy and Brian) in the FS kiss and cry at worlds

You can see the part that was not shown in broadcast (like during review) and him leaving the KnC. Ghislain Briand was there waiting to greet and congratulate him and they hugged (he looked so extremely happy for Yuzuru :yay:) and Shirota-san and Kobayashi-san were waiting behind him too (he and Yuzu seem to check the protocol immediately after in the backstage area).

Thank you, this is beyond fantastic - just what I've been looking for! Yuzu's in good hands all around!

It's actually not that cold, a light jacket will suffice. But skaters wear tshirts and tights all the time even when just skating around and they're closer to the ice than you will be, although they're exercising and you're not, but...yeah, a hoodie or North Face type coat or something would be more than enough.

I didn't know they could check the protocol there :o

Yes! Maybe this is why PJ said in her podcast everyone wants to take care of him and mother him lol, so many people taking care of him that day hahaha

There should be a monitor/computer screen backstage that showed the protocol after your skate. There were those at GPs too. Yuzu checked his during Skate Canada with Brian and discussed with him about it, it was in one of the Japanese TV broadcast too

I just want to say coach stephane is a gift that never stops giving  Can he be there everytime? hahaha

As long as Tracey's somewhere there too... you can have anyone!
I'm reliving the worlds, sorry. Just feeling so elated - feet not touching the ground!

I'm so going to miss the Swan for this alone. I love the deep V on the back just swoooooooooooooning away here.:luv17:
Also anyone knows who designs his costumes? Just a random thought :scratch2:

I'll be watching how many ladies in the fan fest swoon just seeing that pic. :)
And be around with my smelling salts!
