There's never been a skater as Extra as Yuzuru Hanyu. Nathan, for all his quad madness and constant layout changes, doesn't even begin to reach the levels of Extraness of Yuzuru Hanyu. Extra should be Yuzuru Hanyu's middle name or his photo should appear next to its definition in a dictionary. So much lack of Chill his fans have heart attacks on a constant basis and barely survive watching him live.

even with being 7th in the short program, he came out 3rd overall when you calculate the combined score.. not bad

[284 combined]

Only half a point from silver ;)

But is WTT "rankings" based on ordinal sums? 1+7 = 8 which isn't very good lmao.

Quote mentioning Yuzu from Chinese skater Li Tangxu's interview:

- Are you still excited from the skate?
- I just want get back to Kiss & Cry to watch the competition, because I could only watch on TV before and now I finally get to watch in person! Today I was in the same warm-up group with Hanyu, and (I didn't do much else because) I was just so busying watching him skate!

Reminds me of how young Yuzu forgot to practice, watching Plushy!

You could tell from his outfits how much he admires Yuzu. This is so cute!

Earlier at work I realized just how emotionally exhausting these past two days were. Truth be told I couldn't sleep much last night and kept on having nightmares- Yuzuru's mood affected me more than I'd like to admit. In the same way seeing him smiling and content today lifted me up to the skies again. But now slowly it's dawning on me that this was the last Hope and Legacy and I might or might not have cried a bit. I am not used to carrying this many emotions. Send help pls.

Also. Our boy was grace today.

Hanyu, Uno keep Japan in the lead at World Team Trophy

“It is the first time I did the combination quad toe-half loop-triple Salchow,” the two-time World champion noted. “It was not perfect, but I am satisfied. It was the first time I did three quads in the second half of the program and I believe I am the first skater to do this. I am glad I had the energy for that, but I still need more strength physically and mentally.”

Does anyone have the Japanese commentary by TV Asahi? I only have the rough video on youtube. Nobu sounds interesting. i want to translate it if there is none.

I don't think it was the 4lz, probably he was thinking about doing another 4s, because the first one was a single, no zayak...

No, another 4S would have been zayak, because the rule says that no triple or quadruple jump can be attempted more than twice. So even if it's a pop, it counts as an attempted jump.
