Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

It's good if he has withdrawn. In the end, he knows what is best for him. I pray he recovers enough for the Olympics and win it again! #TeamYuzuruHanyu 'til the end:pray::thumbsup:

This news is published by Tohoku media. It says that his injury of right leg isn't recovered as expected and It'll take longer,.His team convinced him to withdraw at final moment. For 4CC, it's still a little rush for him to back at competition, They expect the team event will be possible for him before OG single event.

I was wondering if they had these Lenor sets with the stickers on Amazon Japan. They’re a bit cheesy, but it’s precisely why I want them 😂.

More detailed comment from Keiji.

"Since we both were injured in this season, we kept in touch with each other. We talked about a month ago, "Hope we can skate together in Japanese nationals.", but I feel lonely it did not come true. I want him to recover soon and show us healthy figure on the ice. There are many parts in him that I can respect as a friend and also as a skater, I wanted to see his performance and learn more, so I wanted to stand on the same ice with him sooner. But this time I am going to concentrate on my performance."

I'm still getting together with family to watch Nationals, but I think we will only watch the ladies together. --Watching the men without Yuzu will just make us sad...so we'll do that separately.
Get better soon Yuzu!

Its been a long time since I've stopped by here but Adian Pitkeev had some great words about Yuzu/his programs :)

Did you consider reusing the old programs? You knew them so well and after the injury it would have been easier for you to perform them.

No, we didn't. When they reuse old programs it usually means that the skater hasn't made any progress from where he or she was. I won't speak about what is happening now but personally for me it is not interesting to watch old programs, except Yuzuru Hanyu's ones. As for me, I wouldn't leave my old programs in spite of the circumstances. Moreover, as a result it hasn't changed anything. Besides, I have long wanted to choreograph new programs myself.

^ Well, Yuzuru's programs are the type that can be watched again and again. Such a wonderful thing. Watching Nationals just a while back, while I realized I have missed Sota's skating, I feel like I'm gonna tear up when Yuzuru returns to competition. We miss you Yuzuru. *Sending more healing vibes*

It's already morning on December 24 in Japan (Merry Christmas !!), JSF will speak to the media tonight, so I hope the updates of Yuzuru will come, of course, good one  :)

Merry Christmas everyone:ghug:
I can’t wait to know who will have the second spot for the ladies event, and hoepfully some short interview or video from Yuzu

It was heartwarming to see all the Yuzu banners fans brought just so they could wave it at the selection announcement. So sweet.

We already knew, but it’s official now: Yuzu has officially been selected for the Olympics. :) Shoma and Keiji will join him in the Men.

Sigh... I'm relieved but at the same time concerned about the injury:drama: No updates of how is he doing? Another month without knowing about him is too much :sad21:
