The moment he said his ankle was still healing my heart stopped and I take it back. Let the kids fight for Worlds; heal, and return next season when I hope your GOEs will finally be differentiated properly.

He'll go and that scares me tbh. He now has the weight of the world on him everytime he skates, that adding onto his injury.....

I'm so happy for Yuzu! We couldn't have asked for a more deserving and gracious Olympic champion. I love how he partially attributes his success to his competitors...this guy is just too lovable. I'm ecstatic for Shoma and Javi as well, but Yuzu is the most special to me.

Yes, Yomiuri newspaper reported this morning that he started jumping quad 10 days before the competition, but it didn't mean that he was fully healed and he had to take potent medicine to calm down his pain. I was very shocked reading this but I didn't post it here because I thought it was better not to since it was just right before FS and we needed to be positive and supportive for him. And I also thought we'll get more information later from Yuzuru directly.
I’ve never been more proud to be a Yuzu fan. I hope his injury recovers and allow him to add the 4lo and/or 4lz for worlds.

I don't think he will. What's the point, besides securing a spot for Keiji Tanaka to finish 19th at next years Worlds?
Another reason Hanyu is the GOAT: timing his flower ceremony music to strike his pose just as he climbs the podium.
No wonder the media blackout. Mind-boggling to think he pulled it off.

I actually now think he has less weight on his shoulders, since he's got that second OGM that was his goal all along, and he's cemented himself as GOAT.
