Quick story, if I may:
My husband doesn't really appreciate figure skating but since it's the Olympics (and I'm living for it) I've been talking about it non stop. I obviously talked about Yuzuru A LOT. So in the night of the Men's final my husband actually tried to watch it with me but ended up sleeping after the second group.
In the morning, I was the first to wake up because I had to rewatch his programs as soon as possible. lol
So my husband wakes up and without even moving and in a very sleepy voice he asks the most important question "Did Yuzuru win??"

I've never been so proud! lol
Then I said "I won't give you spoilers, you're gonna have to watch the competition!" and to my surprise he said ok.
But then he watched the news and it showed Yuzuru's interview and everything.
The point is, no one can resist Yuzuru! [emoji23]
Love his skating so much!!! I'm dying to see what will he do next! For me he could keep skating Seimei and Chopin forever, I won't complain! [emoji23]

I think so. I'm slightly disappointed, as I was rather hoping for Requiem ( I don't really mean disappointed, as I'd happily watch Yuzu just do a couple of circuits of the rink and take a bow, but I'd like to see Requiem again)...

I'd be happy to see the Swan again! I think he'll go for it since Tarasova is there and has congratulated him(?).
I don't know what to think about Yuzuru's answer about 4A being his only motivation. A part of me hopes he's still interested in just putting out beautiful new programs to various genres, branching out artistically even more, even if he's got nothing to prove or accomplish anymore (medal-and scorewise). And wouldn't he want to win Worlds on home ice? Three is a magical number. :]

Cute little comment from my mom who is a big Sota fan, upon hearing Yuzuru would like to travel and teach aspiring skaters: "Could he start in Japan and help poor little Sota with the 3A?" Aww. I wish he would. Realistically, if Hanyu-senshu made such public statement, he'd be swamped by requests from all over the world within a day. But I still wish he would. :luv17:
