Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

Yuzuru watching the men's event today:
:shocked::bang::sad21::confused::eek::drama::slink:

Or maybe that was just me.

Yes it was hard to watch but still some good moments. I think Yuzuru would be clapping his hands off for Tomono (who replaced him and had an AMAZING outing), and the fact that they managed to keep 3 spots at home for next year's world!!! I'll admit I was quite worried that won't happen, but 3 spots for both men and ladies next year! Woo!! ;)

Totally agree, I was really looking forward to Tomono’s performance once I know he will replace Yuzu at world, I seen him in NHK Trophy and this kid is fearless, I do expect to see him very often in the future, but 5th at world?! That’s unexpected and what a nice surprise. He save my day.

For Shoma, I have to be honest (I’m not a big fan of Sho), this is the first time I was moved by Shoma, the flight he put on during the second half! It was, so much fire and emotions, I feel like this is the first time I saw the inner-sportsmanship of him so on fire. (His fan might disagree, obviously I didn’t see him enough)

I remember Kazuki's tweet in December of 2016.

"While I was year-end cleaning (his room/house), I found an item in the photo frame brings back memories.(((゜Д゜;))) I did nothing but read it happily back then, but thinking of it now, it is awesome since it is handwritten.(^^; Was it 2012 I participated in "THE ICE"? (he said in reply it was in 2011). I was a novice skater at that time so quite a lot of time passed. I wonder if I was able to grow a little."

Dear Kazuki-kun ✩

Thank you for THE ICE Osaka.
I'm looking forward to seeing you in the same competition as a rival some day! (hehe)
Kazuki, Ganba!!

So cute, I am melting. :o:
Yuzu always talk about being the light to guide others, or even the smaller happiest he could bring to others, he do what he say. What a beautiful person.

Hanyu's ranked 6th in the world, despite being the 2 time OGM. Because he missed GPF, 4CC, and worlds. How dare he attend too few events because of his injury.

He can easily get back that no.1 spot when he's healed. :agree:

I mean the entire procedure that the ISU follows is so meaningless and boring. I couldn't even muster up the energy to throw in a question mark at the end of that sentence. Or an emoji to show how boring it was.

Yes, ISU, Yuzuru's 6th. Makes perfect sense.

Why would anyone care about Yuzuru's seasons world ranking really? He did three competitions, of course he's not going to be ranked super high. He's still (as I'm writing this at least) ranked number one in the world standings, and I would say that that is more important.

It's less about Yuzuru, I guess. I just have been on a streak of finding the ISU's procedures and organization to be extraordinarily poorly thought out.
