Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

I want to see Yuzu wearing all 8 of his senior championship gold (4 GPF, 2 WC, and 2OGM) a’la Michael Phelps in Beijing.

If not that, I’d settle for both Olympic Gold medals during the parade . I wonder if he keeps the Sochi medal in a sock too.

Was Phelps' neck alright? I'm worried about Yuzuru because his neck is very slender :luv17:

well this is what Phelps looked like. Granted Yuzu's Olympic medals are much larger than what the World medals used to be (they actually looked heftier at Milan, and large).

I remember in 2014 Yuzu came o ut with his GPF, Olympic, and World Championship medal and that looked cool.

Thought maybe some of you might enjoy the video I just finished a couple days ago. I've just started experimenting with my movie making software recently, so it's nothing fancy. I had a lot of fun making it though...especially the spot in the middle where Yuzu says to fast forward, lol. Most of you are probably familiar with a lot of the clips, but it's still fun to watch. I have always held up some hope the cardboard medals (or the plastic stars) were just placeholders for the real medals that they'd send by courier post later or something. I'll keep this illusion in my heart because it's nice.

It was probably taken prior to the Olympics because why would he be in Toronto now when he's still rehabing and has stuff to do in Japan during April?

My friends at Worlds said they met Brian and they asked him to give Yuzu a message that they all missed seeing him. Brian said he would tell him when he sees him on Monday. So maybe he's back? Unless Brian is going to Japan. My friend said he specifically said "sees him on Monday" not just "talks to him".

I thought he was doing the rehab in Japan But yeah, as I said before, it is much easier for him to get the ice time privately if he is in Toronto, so this is really good sign IMO. It's spring break here and probably Ice rink Sendai is crowded with the public and the same goes to other rinks, and pro skaters also have to practice their programs for the spring shows.

I hope he is already working on the new programs, finding the music or discussing some ideas with the choreographers
